I honestly can't say why anyone would have a problem with this. I hold my hands up and admit that I'm sometimes guilty of it, but I know it's wrong. If the law started hoying people out of football grounds for behaving like ****s, it would be fine by me.
If one of my daughters was running the line at a game and she started getting sexist abuse I'd smack the **** responsible
What if it was your son running the line? If your daughter didn't get the same abuse as other lino's, wouldn't that be sexist? It implies you'd be happier to hear she was blind, unfit, fat and useless rather than people finding her attractive.
Not sure what her attractiveness or otherwise has got to do with it? Sexist comments can be made towards women regardless of their looks. The bottom line is that I wouldn't want her getting abuse of ANY kind.
I don't have a son, but no - I wouldn't want him getting any specific kind of abuse. It's when someone picks on a person's physical characteristics that it's unacceptable. If someone didn't like the way the job was being done, say so by all means, but to do this by focussing on an aspect of someone's appearance, or their gender, or sexuality, or race, or religion and so on, is the territory of the hard-of-thinking.
I heard you the first time. So no shouts about the lino's fitness, eyesight, solo sexual habits, competence, physique, fitness, hair etc allowed then, or his dad will chin us.
Maybe we should have a list of what we are allowed to shout when we think the useless, bald, fat, ****er of a lino gets it wrong.
I hate to admit it, but at football I once shouted to Jason lee that his hair looked similar to a pineapple, I believe a few others also joined in. I will hand myself into the police station after work and inform on those that also took part. May god forgive me.
God may well forgive you, even Jason might, I'm just not convinced pineapples will be so forgiving. They can be a prickly lot.
