After a good string of premier league results and our win today against Everton we find ourselves in 3rd place, four points behind City, a point ahead of Utd, three ahead of Liverpool with a far superior goal difference, five points ahead of Southampton and seven clear of the spuds.

March however could be the month to shape our season. Our fixtures look like this:

    QPR (A)
Man Utd (A) - FA Cup
    West Ham (H)
    Monaco (A) - CL
    Newcastle (A)

We have three winnable games in the league. They won't be easy games but they are games we should be looking to take maximum points from. During this time Utd play spurs and Liverpool, Liverpool play Swansea away and Southampton play Chelsea and Everton away.

So we know at least two of our rivals will drop points during March and it's likely others will drop points too. This is a real chance to build up a cushion in the league and it's important we take 9/9 in our march league fixtures to concrete our position in third and challenge for second.

We also have the Utd game in the FA Cup. I think whoever wins that game will go on to win the competition and I'd love us to retain the Cup and make FA Cup history. Big Game.

And finally we have our slim chance to get through to the CL Quarter final but I'd now rank it below the other games in importance given the score line. I'd go for the result when we get to the game but we should make sure the league is our priority.

Where do you see us at the end of March? Which games would you prioritise?

QPR, West Ham and Toon away should really be 9 points, but I'd be happy with 6.

I think we've got a good chance against Utd, but we seem to make such hard work of playing those ****s. I'd really like to see us get to the final again of the FA cup as realistically it's our best chance for silverware this season.

Monaco game, we might as well go for it. Better to lose 5-1 on aggregate than go out with a whimper. We've got it in us to win that game 0-3, but it's a tall tall order now.

We need to improve how we're playing, and get back on form - as although it was a good win today, we played shockingly for large periods, it was just lucky that Everton were toothless, and don't utilise Lukaku for some reason.

Still we should aim for 9 points in the league, though Newcastle could be a banana skin - but even they will be much easier now the fans have go their way and Pardew has gone.

We need to put a performance in against Man U, and show how much better we are than them.

Monaco will probably be a heroic loss again - though I suppose in seasons past those sorts of performances have kick started our season (such as our away goals loss against Bayern).

9 points from those fixtures is a big ask really. It is quite rare to win that many on the trot and Arsenal are already on a 3 game winning streak. Can arsenal really win 6 games on the run? That may have only happened once or twice this season for any club.
6 points would be a good return I think, but it is best just to concentrate on the QPR game only.

I reckon we will finish in the top 4, but I have no idea where. That should be expected though. If we want to win silverware this season, we need to beat United at OT. They have our number at the moment and a win at their place is long, long overdue. Will we do it? I'm not sure. I've been confident in the past and we've ended up losing. I really hope we can though because I'm sick of those ****s always getting one over us.

It's not like we haven't had enough chances to either.
We're well overdue a win against Utd and it would be massive to knock them out of the cup at home. It's a big, big game.
But we need to see an improvement in our overall play as I agree we've been patchy recently and in this form we could also go to OT and easily lose.

It all depends on who LVG picks (and where he plays them), if he picks the right players in their natural position it will be a close game. If he sticks to his "fill-os-ofy" and demands a certain game rhythm then good luck in the semi`s <ok>

Edit Danny will have a point to prove <grr>

League: 9 out of 9 Points. QPR Away? Decent Challenge but we should be winning this. West Ham Home? Been a steady source of 3 points for years now and West Ham are fading slightly; we should win here. Newcastle Away? They have nothing to play for really; a win is expected.
FA Cup: Tough and massive game, but I expect as we did vs. City we should edge this one out.
Champions League: A win. Will it be enough of a win? I don't know. But I'm expecting a win in response to the shambles we put out.

If Arsenal do win their next three league games then they are probably back in the title race at that stage with 8 games to go, probably 6-7 points behind Chelsea and Chelsea to come to the Emirates (though with a game in hand)
City overtook Utd from 8 points back with 6 games to go I think.

We've been a little up and down this season but we have it in us to get maximum points in the league, providing we get a good result against manure. I'm sticking to a win against Manure, as we are clearly due for a result against them and they can only be so jammy...

Christ, I think title challengers may be a step too far! I was convinced we'd get third at the start of the season and I'm pretty sure this will still be the case. The only thing that might change that is Citeh's sporadic form and Liverpool's increasingly good resuts.

Liverpool, Saints, United and the Spuds don't have Europe to worry about which will help but, barring miracles, neither will we shortly. The FA cup too might be a factor for those still in it with the run in. I think the only way to take it is one game at a time. If you look at QPR away it's a very winnable tie but the second you say and beating .... it affects your psychology. We just need to keep it simple and focus match by match.

By my maths the teams challenging for 3/4th all play one of the top 7 sides 3 times bar one - United, who have 5. I'll be very interested to see how they fare against better opposition. Sh*t, is what I'm hoping.

Well so far we've gotten past QPR, so that's 1 down, :D. Now to the big one, get past United.

Title challenge...bloody hell <laugh> Lets get real here, look at your last 10 year - forget closing a 9 point lead, you lot will need a 9 pt head start. And even the I'd say it's touch and go you making 4th.

A Real Madrid fan says if we win our next three games in a row we'd be back in the title challenge, to which everyone disagrees and says he is going OTT and that third or at best second is a more realistic target for us. Yet despite all the Arsenal fans disagreeing you've decided it's a good stick to try and beat them with and your pal UIR is straight in there too. Lol.

Oh and given the remaining fixtures, current form and current points, you'd have to say Arsenal are favourites for Top four. Must be getting nervous as a Utd fan what with the difficult fixture run you've got and Liverpool and Spurs breathing down your necks...
