John O'Shea is fitter than the majority of the Sunderland squad, says Gus Poyet

So there you go. An old man, a crock and a smoker reported back the fittest. Personally I think it's quite a scary fact when you consider for most of the season we look spent by the hour mark. It's a world away from last season where PDC had them reporting back under a weight target and turning them into the fittest Sunderland team in my lifetime. I'd like to see us fitter and sharper, I'd like our coach to put a greater empathis on fitness. We had very few injury problems last season. One would have thought that Gus would have noticed the fitness levels of the squad he inherited and it just click in his head that it's better for the squad. Apparently not.

but steadiest, and certainly most reliable. Maybe we are forgetting he was a utility defender at ManU and not a natural CH.

JOS may be the fittest, but that just means he can lumber along the furthest.

Something's wrong when we have a talented squad, but cannat string a few passes together and old father time is the fittest we have <doh>
