I'd sell ferdinand - he isnt consitent enough.

I'd also sell Steed. Fantastic with the ball at his feet, but cant cross or shoot.

Does any one know who will still be injured for the beginning of the season? I know Westwood also has a shoulder injury at the moment (which I presume will clear up before our 1st game).
I presume Catts, Bramble, Gordon and Campbell will still be out.

I asked the question about injuries nearly two weeks ago but got no replies. Does anyone have info of WHO will be fit for the new season, I know we have addressed cover in defence and midfield but would like to know the fitness situ.

Chunky - have you watched the SAFC TV clips of the first day back in training this week?

Both Catts and Bramble both seen running freely and doing all the stretching exercises with the rest of the team. Both looked relaxed and laughing and joking and looked anything but long term injured.

There is going to be a massive fight for places at this team next season and thats fantastic news for the club.

I'm loving this - never have I known it where we haven't got a clue at what formation we'll be playing and who will be playing where. I have this sneaky feeling that Brucey is planning Sess to play as a second striker with Gyan. He filled in really well at the back end of the season and something tells me that they are Brucey's plans.

I don't think we'll get any more in now, i honestly think that's us done. We'll have Wickham, Campbell, Gyan, Dong and Sess as our strikers. You'll see a few leave and hopefully this can happen quickly too.

If we get another striker then great and as for N'zog, he can do one the greedy ****er...!!

Really excited about this season now.....!!!!

and thats why I ask the question cest. All of the players brought in, I think, will be very unhappy if not in the team but will respond by fighting hard for a place. Dont see zog responding in that way.

Didn't see that mate, just going off physio room web site.

They usually pretty reliable as they check with the clubs & update on a daily basis.

Still have them both down as no return date.

Hope they are fit though, I'd be happy to be wrong!
