I think those who are expecting Spurs to suffer under the financial pressure of the new stadium are forgetting the massive impact the new TV deal is going to have. Once foreign rights have been negotiated, the total is expected to reach around a staggering £8.5 BIL. These sort of numbers would mean the champions receiving around £150mil and even the bottom club, not far off £100mil. And that's just the TV money. Yes, £450mil is a fair chunk of change, but I don't believe that it's going to have the financial impact that some deluded Spamners, and others are hoping for.

Tricky, you do know why I put "owned" in inverted commas, don't you? No? Well, it was a term that was used by a Gooner (I forget which). And, yes, I agree that it is bollocks (like most of the stuff that Gooners on this site spout), which is why I place that word in inverted commas. It is quite an easy concept to grasp, if you take the time to think about it.
Its not just you HIAG. I'm seeing it more and more on these forums. This theory that anyone who replies to an outrageous or controversial comment has been caught out is a bit weird. Especially on a forum where the whole point is to discuss different opinions. NSIS can't help replying to every single thing I write. "Owning" someone is an art, Tricky. To "own" someone, you have to have a good and clever put-down. I'm forever "owning" PESKIE and various others. It gets to the point where I grow weary of it, to be honest. PESKIE and the likes of Gooner4 like to think that their pathetic retorts are "owning" comments, but they are, in reality, at the same level as "your mum stinks!"
I note that it's Arsenal v West Ham this weekend. Presumably, PESKIE and Gooner4 (the Chuckle Brothers) will put their money where their mouths are, and will predict a Spanners' win? If not, they are going to look like bigger clowns than they already are, given their assertion that the Spanners are making a power-shift on Spurs.
