Arsenal should beat QPR. QPR are utter ****e. They raise their game when they play Chelsea and usually give us a game, but against anyone else, they are turd.
Are you basing the 'easy' games on current position alone? Most are also in a relegation battle, as has been shown recently those games will be anything but easy.
Is the mid table ones with nowt to play for that will become easy. West Ham for instance, now on holiday given they are safe from relegation.
of course relegation teams will "fight for their lives" but at the end of the day they are in the relegation zone for a reason. And that reason is because they are ****. Were Arsenal playing QPR on the last day of the season, with QPR's PL life depending on the outcome of that game alone, then yes I could see why it might be a potential banana skin....but right now....Arsenal should do em.
I totally agree that these won't all go as planned. But i restress, in a perfect world, a good team will beat an average team so that's the logic that i've applied evenly. It's not a science that even takes current form into consideration. Just an indicator on toughness of run in. Nothing more really, the points tally and final positions is highly subjective and just a bit of fun
We've got a horrific run in, fair play, and I don't really dispute the final positions, other than I really can't see Spurs ahead of us, just the way you reached them. I think we'll be fifth or fourth and it really all comes down to the result between United and Liverpool at Anfield. On current form we'll lose but who's to say something might just suddenly click into place? For all our grinding out of results any time we've come up against a half decent side this year (top eight) we've lost and we've only drawn against those at nine and ten. The only teams we've won against are bottom half. I think we'll be fifth at the end of the season.
Who knows.....watch all my 'predictions' go south tonight!! I don't think the game between us at Anfield will decide anything tbh, I think that there are a few twists and turns to be had elsewhere....it's just impossible to predict!
The matches against the Londoners will be crucial. If United get the points they've still got a chance. Win those then draws against Chelsea City and the RS might be sufficient.
Think he means since jan 1st. Weve played Saints and West Ham out of the top 8 (position at the time) and picked up 1 point.
Hope you all backed the winners as I predicted last night. Not massive odds but was a nice little accu!! Massive next 3 games for us both that will, imo, define our seasons. I'd wish you good luck but wouldn't mean it at all!!
There's no easy away game for either of us tbh....Think your home games are tougher than ours. It's Spurs, who aren't be spoken about and therefore have less pressure that we both need to watch! It's gunna be really tight.
It is like saying city are rubbish because they've only beaten sides below them. Don't get me wrong. This has been some weird season. An RS fan I know is tearing his hair out at our exploits Do I think we have been giving the right performances? NO Do I think we can get into 4th? Definitely YES! Do I think the performances will improve ? NO Do I think we could go the rest of the season undefeated and with >70 points? YES
Not a chance you'll go undefeated for the rest of the season if your performances don't improve. In fact, not a chance that you'll go undefeated in the next 4 games if performances don't improve
There is a difference between 'could' and 'will' but then I wouldn't expect an RS fan to recognise that.
