Interested to see what people thought of ref. Rod looked a dive I thought. From our end it looked like Wes took the ball in that tackle, did he take man and ball?
There was a real bad one from Bridcutt I thought could've been red too did u c it? Dunno what Gus said but could've been managed better surely? Would he have the plums to send Jose/Rodgers to the stand? Doubtful.

I agree mate. The players are the one's on the pitch who need to perform but you can't just get rid of players all that easily.

It's up to the manager to get the best out of them.

The only scuffle is between the linesman & the pieman .

I once had an outbreak of scuffles but got some cream from the chemist <ok>

Yep - yet the only one sent off was Poyet for something Wenger does quite often?

I think we agree here but you must admit this is not altogether the fault of Gus, we dont know if he even sees this as a problem, and if he does he might remember what happened to PDC when he cottoned on. In truth we have to support the players we have, this is the reality. And the Brighton lads are good squad players imo., on that point where is Buckley ?

Defoe must be wondering that himself .....
.... as PVA aptly demonstrated we need to have people running past defenders rather than launching high balls to a midget.

Buckley does support the forwards, tries to go past people and wins free kicks.
It doesn't always work but I think he's a good option.

Not a massive Buckley fan but absolutely he does give us some impetus and tries to get things moving forward.

He's never really had a chance with Defoe in the middle who actually moves and finds space, so I'm all for him getting another punt.

He doesn't get involved enough for me and when he does he really doesn't keep the ball well. Just don't rate him.

He does get balls in though, and with Defoe he might look a bit better, Jermaine is more likely to get on the end of them.

We have to try everything, basically!

Defoe's been making his runs while we've got the ball in the middle of the park. I agree with trying everything but I would have thought playing the player who's made a living from providing for world class runs down the middle of the pitch would be the first thing to try. Alvarez in his natural position protected by Larrson and Catts(Rodders until he's back) would be the way I'd go.

I'd love to see that but then Mowgli wouldn't have any excuses left, so he won't do it.

Knowing him he'd pick that but miscount and stick another player in midfield, Bridcunt... Who must have summit on him as far as I'm concerned. Just before kick off be told of his mistake and rectify it by taking the ****ing keeper out.

Anar, that team has pace, width, technical ability, protection for the defence, a natural goalscorer, experiance and the hunger of youth. A lot of what we've been missing and it's all there in our squad.

Bridcutt is genuinely woeful isn't he?

He's one of them that when we play well he blends in and looks tidy, when we aren't playing well, as in 93.7% of the time, he looks like a blind windowcleaner trying to sponge bath an angry greyhound.

    He's ****.

As you say Funky, everything we need and supposedly lack, we already have, the manager just hasn't used it correctly, cos he's a ****ing idiot.
