Reality is we screwed up too much at the start of the season and our destiny is outside of our hands. Playing well now, great but no good if everyone above us is collecting points. We are going to rue those early defeats to Villa, Newcastle, West Ham etc...
I feel your pain, but what can you do? At least they are dropping the odd points (e.g. Swansea), otherwise we wouldn't have been able to catch up. At least now we're in a position where if nothing changes until then and we beat them when we play them, we move above them. That's better than what it looked like a few weeks ago.
Another game, another three points. Really fancy us for that top four. Defense on form, midfield free scoring and Danny starting to get in the goals. All bodes well.
Danny now in the goals is very positive. Henderson and Couts now have the confidence to put it in the back of the net. Great stuff. On the otherhand if Everton don't stop the rot then they could actually go down.
3rd game in a week... if we were going to be sloppy in 1 of the games out of City & Burnley, we could get away with it in the Burnley game
Burnley didn't look bothered tbh, he didn't get a lot of support. Nice 2-0 win, nothing spectacular and never had to worry about them bothering to attack.
