    Good performance so far, just need that second goal. Allen, Coutinho, Henderson all playing well. Sterling looking decent at wing back.

    Good game burnley had a lack of ambition but a plan that is now out the door

    I wish we had put two past them cos they will have hope at ht

    Hopefully will get second in first few of second half

    Like I thought at the start of the game, Sturridge has been very poor, comparatively.

    Allen and Couthino playing well, Sterling doing okay down the right. Happy with the defence so far.

    He's obviously still rusty and just needs game time to get back into things.

    Even though he might not be playing brilliantly, he still offers the pace and movement that our other forwards don't and as such that helps players like Lallana/Coutinho/Sterling who can make the runs and fill the other space etc

    His record as captain has sort of coincided with our change of formation but it's top class in terms of results and goals/assists for himself.

    Liverpool have started off where they left off in the first half. Tom Heaton has to be alert to get to a Philippe Coutinho cross-cum-shot with Daniel Sturridge lurking with intent.


    Surely you're not allowed to do that on a football pitch <yikes>
