It's a load of old ****e on Wednesday but I like All The Aces in the seller at Catterick. 6/1

I've also been keeping an eye on Alan McCabe's runners since he's switched yards. His bumper runner, Midnight Tour, makes her debut in the last at Catterick and is interesting. 3/1 currently. Worth a small investment.

We're all saving our ammo, although a little flutter on Saturday! Would be rude not too.

    14:10 Catterick - It's A Mans World

( Well, if one's going to fizzle out with an inaudible beep, then a Selling Hurdle is the way to do it. Selling Hurdles are minefields but I can't help feeling this one is a reasonably modest bet at the 11/4 currently available with Laddies and Willie Hill, plus one or two others. Dropped to a Seller, the selection could possibly give the probable favourite Lord Navits a run for his money, but there's no guarantee of that. Know nothing about young conditional jockey Garry Lavery, but his 7lb clam must surely help? Trainer Brian Ellison is of course one of the best. So, that's it, it's been a bit stressful sometimes, but lots of fun. Really, looking forward to next week, but as YouSee once remarked, the Cheltenham Festival is for watching. He's right, but it's hard to resist trying to find a winner or two at the fantastic prices on offer).

I wish you all good luck with your wagers! <ok>

Good luck, Stick, in all probability it's a good favourite. Just tried to look for a bit of a price in a tough-looking day. Yesterday looked really tough, yet when you look with hindsight at Malcolm Jefferson's two good winners, it really wasn't that hard! <laugh>

Sorry Stick, just had no time the last two days. Mornings, discussing 'form' with lady physicians, etc. All through with that now though, thank goodness.

Had my high points at the Festival years ago, Ginger, but to be truthful, the last few years I've found it so difficult to find winners there. There are a few of the guys on the forum who get pretty inspired at Cheltenham, they're the ones to follow. As for trainers, you really can't go wrong with Willie Mullins who again has a very strong hand. Apparently the ground might well be good, so that puts Philip Hobbs in the picture. Hope Paul Nicholls hasn't already shot his bolt with all the big weekend winners he's been having lately? Mr.Henderson will no doubt do well, and Nigel T-D has a good chance in the CH, but this Faugheen might be something else, if he's not already that? Can't fancy the Fly if the going is on the fast side, although one can never discount this great hurdler.

Sorry for babbling on like this, got carried away! <laugh>
