Well it depends how you look at the forum ....if you think it's for Norwich Fans exclusively with guests allowed so long as they tow the line and don't upset the 'paid up members'.......or like me believe it's a forum for anybody to discuss topics related to Norwich Positive or negative........

If it's the former I suggest some sort of description and rules on a sticky............

If it's the latter then you have to expect quite a bit of Ipswich traffic due to our proximity and friendly rivalry....

 

I feel I should complain about the persistent use of the insulting term 'Binner'.......I take it as a personal insult as I used to be forced to sing 'my old mans a dustman'

Getting a bit fed up of people saying that they've been banned for posting 'opinions' and that we should tolerate it.

No they haven't been banned for this reason.

They've been banned for constantly wumming.

Big difference so stop trying to suggest otherwise.

 

I suggest that sometimes someone's opinion can be so different from your own it could seem like a WUM.

 

With all due respect I don't think you have the first idea just how intolerable that duo have been in the past few months. It had become impossible to post anything without their 'banter' ruining every thread.

They never offered opinions.

 

JWM does not post opinion, he is far more interested in making himself look a dickhead.

That's not justification to be banned however.

There is more in that story than I am willing to post on here and would recommend that others use similar levels of common sense when making inflammatory comments and potentially stirring up more nonsense.

The issue in question was raised by an Ipswich contributor to a Norwich mod (in confidence) that some comments were overstepping the mark. That is all. And quite frankly I don't understand this clamour to care/be offended about anything so trivial as this petty squabble.

As for bans on our board, I am fairly certain that in my 2 years leading the ship I have never seen a ban dished out. I may be mistaken but always see banning as the moment when all your cards have been played and there is nothing left you can do..

Yes there have been misdemeanour's from certain individuals.But please let's remember that it is an internet forum for goodness sake. There are plenty of important things going on in peoples lives who frequent these boards and yet the biggest topic across both our boards is a petty squabble that has been running for months.. (or years) so please can we draw a line and go about our lives without the "he said, she said" playground bickering
