To be fair, your main chant was 'Only One Adam Johnson', which our lads were mimicking. A chant which might well come back to bite you on the arse.
I disagree, the usual chants came out Red & White Army / Haway the Lads/ By far the greatest team etc etc
How come on TV all you could hear is Ha way the lads, red and white army and Sunderland being shouted..They may have sang Johnson's name, but it most certainly wasn't the main chant.. PS..By all accounts it was in response to your fans singing about him being a ****phile, although you couldn't hear your fans on TV..
Away teams generally out sing the home fans, and at the KC that's nothing new. We aren't anything special & most will admit that.
It was, though I think it's fairly likely that you'll get to hear similar chants at all your games for the foreseeable.
You can post whatever thread you like, it was nowhere near the main chant last night. 'Fat Geordie Custard' was sang much loader, and others, like 'Things can only get better' sang more often and for longer
There were ***** chants chanted. I think you'll have a lot of them coming your way in the next few weeks. Our fans do have that in our locker. Some dickheads think they're being funny.
It was the main one I noticed and if you keep singing it, it's likely to be the main one other clubs notice.
It was inevitable that Sunderland would show support for a fellow Sunderland lad who's merely been accused of something vague. It was also inevitable that Hull would boo. Neither are a big deal.
That's inevitable, it's contentious, but it was far from the main chant. It was also sung by the lowest, but quite noisy, percentage of people. Some abstained and some muttered about it being unwise. I'm still in Scarborough! My mate is also self employed so we're just sitting around getting over the hangover while the lasses have gone for a walk on the beach* *Girl talk for looking at the beach then going shopping.
