    Mario Balotelli to Liverpool,

Ángel Di María to Manchester United.
These two players are top top players. So far, non of them has measured up to expectations in the premiership.
Please vote for the biggest flop of the season.
    1.Mario Balotelli .
    2.Ángel Di María
    3. Another person

Falcao - At one point regarded as one of the top 3 strikers on the planet.
Shown me absolutely **** all to back up that in the PL.
Was actually disappointed, was looking forward to see him tear up the PL, even if it was for United.

    Di Maria
    Falcao
    Mangala
    Lukaku
    Herrera
    Shaw
    Rojo
    Welbeck
    Blind

And Barkley. He wasn't signed this season but was supposed to do something. But no.

No one else thinks Falcao sucked balls?
After all the hype surrounding him and him being the most expensive loan player ever.

Yep. His year loan is more money than we bought Coutinho for.

I agree. Was a bit deflated when Utd signed him but he's been poor (thank god). Perhaps he peaked before he went to Monaco.....after all, moving there wasn't for football reasons was it. The injury seems to have finished him off. Now just looks like a mercenary trading off his name ,ok>

From a Liverpool perspective mario was always a risk....I wanted him to succeed but quickly realised that he just doesn't suit how we play. My biggest disappointment this season came when Markovic received the ball in space and on the run......I turned to my son and said, now watch this lad go.......and nothing....it was like oh, erm....I honestly thought that he was much faster than that!! <laugh>

Ozil has played 57 games since joining Arsenal and has a combined 33 goals and assists in that time. In David Silvas last 57 games he has contributed to 33 combined goals and assists.

Ozil, the most effective flop in the country...

Oh, he's also got the most assists in the league in 2015. #flop

    Lets see....

    hmmmm

    I dunno

Di maria at 60mil has certain expectations that would mean he is worse than Falcao. however faclao is on huge wages and year fee was massive for a loan so he has to be on there.

Tobes is right that lovern should be considered.

Balotelli at 16mil is a lower fee but he's done exactly as many feared so he's not a let down for many but he's hurt LFC badly.

shaw at 30mil and injured so much has to be a bit of a flop

Lukaku has not really got his goals for 28mil record buy. in the end....
26 games 7 goals in league is the biggest thing. Goals in europa... who cares.

Then we should be fair and say Sturrdige has been a huge flop. big expectations and just injured. Thats depends if you are on the wum or not. I would say a flop is someone playing the games but failing to deliver anything

Di maria has done more than Falcao by far IMO

    Falcao
    Balotelli
    Lovren

I'd have as the top three. Falcao was supposed to be the best striker in the league and that hasn't worked out at all, with him barely registering a handful of goals in his entire time in the country.

Balotelli has struggled to even get game time regularly and not been anywhere near the level expected of him.though it was always a risk so maybe it's unfair to have him in second...

And finally Lovren I just feel of all the defenders who have under performed this season is the stand out one. He cost a fortune and hasn't nailed down a starting place.

Agree re: Falcao and Di Maria.

Di Maria was pretty good in the first half of the season, he has dipped since Christmas. So even though he cost a lot of money, he atleast has contributed.
Falcao on the other hand, might have cost less (but still expensive as hell) yet has contributed the sum of **** all. Especially since, like Di Maria, he is regarded as world class, he was stated by some to be the best striker on the planet 2-3 years ago, yet has been absolutely ****.

I don't think di Maria should go on the list, the price was inflated as Utd were desperate and di Maria has shown flashes of brilliance. He's a top player but he has struggled to settle. I still think he's contributed to there season and is played often out of position. He will become a solid player for them if they don't sell him off.

He would definitely be on my list, but not at the top, because no one has ever referred to him as the best striker in the world.
He has sucked, granted. But Falcao was supposed to be a god, cost more to loan than Balo did to buy and has been extremely ****e.

I am just glad that pretty much ALL of Chelseas signings were spot on so far.
Costa and Fab have been excellent
Felipe Luis very good also, really rate him.

Di Maria has scored a few brilliant goals. We also have to sympathies with any one who is a victim to such dud tactics as Van Gaal's.

Falcao has been dire, no question. But to not include Balotelli (or any of Liverpools signings) yet try and get Barkley in there is criminal.

Since his arrival, Jose has added real quality to the team. His hit rate with regards to players purchased has to be the best in the league by a country mile. Very few misses and even then, he shifts them quickly (unlike us with the likes of Borini).....and there are no shortages of top quality players who will play for him.
