Entering the Top Six Challenge got me wondering where Leeds will manage to finish next season.

I personally feel that we out did ourselves last season, a few results went our way and everything taken into account I don't think we really should have or could have finished higher, a good to fair season.

Looking at the division this season the three teams to come down are all strong, Southampton look good and are spending money, Ipswich investing well and Leicester splashing the cash.

The way things are at the moment I feel 7th is outside our reach, if you were a betting man and not allowing your heart to rule your head where do you see Leeds finishing next season?

As things stand and assuming we do get a replacement keeper and a few loan signings I can't see Leeds finishing higher than 10th

Unless we obtain 4 quality players we will struggle to reach mid table no central defenders no left back and a dodgy goalkeeper but don,t worry BATES is scouring the non league for quality players

You are correct..as things stand we dont seem to be ambitious to improve on last seasons 7th
As I have stated before, I reserve judgement until I see the first team sheet. The first game is a tough one.

The most popular choices so far in the TOP SIX comp are the obvious West Ham, Leicester, Birmingham and Forest. Leeds only feature in about half the entries.

Its going to be one hell of a season.

MARKO I have never slammed Grayson he has done a marvellous job with his hands tied I just wish he would stand up to the dictator and tell him to back me or sack me .I,m sorry I sound so despondent but it is a result of sheer frustration at the antics going on at Leeds and the lies coming from his lips . Do not compare me with that person, I have watched our team for 60 years and I,m only telling how I think it is believe you me nothing would give me greater pleasure than for the dictator to prove me wrong

I really don't know why some people are backing Southampton. They scraped into 2nd in League 1 last year and have only made 1 meaningful signing. As it stands their squad is significantly weaker than ours.

I can imagine them doing reasonably well but I can't imagine them going straight up.

They still only scraped into 2nd though. How impressive they looked whenever you watched them has nothing to do with it. 1 good signing simply isn't enough to go from just achieving promotion to the Championship to being a favourite for promotion from the Championship.

They were next to bottom when ATKINS TOOK OVER have you factored that in SIMON and Atkins only bought one player Chappelow for £50kso how good is that and he loaned out Puncheon because he didn,t like his attitude

You're all talking about the other teams that have already brought in a lot of new players been contenders for promotion but what you have to take into account is bedding the players in. Leicester spent big last season but were so up and down they were difficult to predict. Boro were probably the best example lots of new players and they did not gel. The old PL teams will have to adapt to a much different kind of football and most teams struggle at first.

The nucleus of our side is settled and been there and done it in this league, with four more additions (Please!) we'll be there ot there abouts. Admittedly a goalkeeper would be nice!!

The article has been written by some idiot who doesn't even know the past tense of 'begin'. He says Leeds are selling key players, but we've done no such thing. How he (or anyone) thinks they can reliably make predictions before the transfers are all done is amazing.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA, thats hilarious that you actually believe millwall have more of a chance to get in the playoffs than leeds, i dont think hyou realise the reality, millwal will be fighting for lives to prevent relegation and im not saying this because i hate millwall i'm saying this because genuinely believe millwall will get relegated next season

That website's strapline is "The Online Lifestyle Portal For London - Books, Music, Films, Charity, Shopping, Cinema, Kids, Holidays, Food & Drink".

But yeah of course their writers are going to be impartial and definitely know their stuff about football.
