They were due to leave from Hurn at 10 o'clock in the usual VIP Boeing 737 9H-AHA, but at 10:30 is still showing as Final boarding, perhaps Sadio has turned up late again?
They just overflew Southampton en route at 11:05, bon voyage lads, keep your fingers out of the Fondue!
I'm getting the rather cynical [and uncharacteristic for me] feeling that Jay's fitness will miraculously be 100% come the start of next season. Provided he playing for a different club. Must be the influences I get when coming here.
I had similar feelings about this situation but can't see the advantage to JRod of not proving his fitness in a couple of games ahead of a move. Would anyone be daft enough to spend £10-15m on a player that has had a serious injury for a year and not having proved his recovery?
It used to mean the end of the players career, must have some effect on a players career. I believe there was a England female footballer that did one knee, recovered and then did the other and still came back, she has more balls than most male players

This was on the same website... http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...ssed-with-alberto-bueno-southampton-consider/ According to talkSPORT, Southampton want to sign Rayo Vallecano striker Alberto Bueno on a free transfer at the end of the season. The Saints have recently encountered a mini blip in form having gone three games without a win, but bounced back on Tuesday night with a victory over Crystal Palace. A European challenge is still on the cards for Ronald Koeman's men, but the big problem of late has been the lack of goals scored by the Saints. Graziano Pelle started the season on fire, but has now gone six games without a goal as concerns begin to grow over the Italian. Signing a striker in the summer has to be a priority for Koeman, and talkSPORT believe that the Dutchman has been impressed with Rayo Vallecano's Alberto Bueno. The former Real Madrid striker, who spent time on loan with Derby County in the 2010/11 season, has hit the headlines this week having scored four goals in one game for Rayo against Levante. The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning the Spaniard could join Southampton for free, with talkSPORT suggesting that the Saints are now keeping tabs on him ahead of a possible summer move. Bueno predominantly plays behind a striker where he can get between the lines and use his skill to score or create chances, and playing someone in and around Pelle would certainly help Southampton's struggling attack.
This is really quite sexist nonsense you know Fran and not what I would expect from a sophisticated, emancipated woman of the world like you. I find it quite offensive that you should see men as sex objects, This is not the way for a modern 21st century woman to behave.
Yoshi with the "peace sign" there. You can take the boy out of Japan, but you can't take Japan out of the boy.
