He just can't leave us alone can he? Always having a dig. His latest comments about Ash could have stayed in his 'ead, or, left until the end of the season. Is it 'cos we are having a good season (on and off the pitch) and his team is going down the 'drain'?

I don't want him to leave in the form he is in, but at 31 his value to the club and to suitors will only decline. Unless there is a planned long term role I think we should say, 'Thanks Ash - you've been brilliant .... go get your pension.' If a good offer comes in and we can keep Amat, Fernandez and Bartley we should accept .
He's already earned more than most of us will earn in our lifetime in one season, so I think his pension isn't a worry.
Ash is the backbone of the team, essential he stays. He's got at least a couple of seasons left at the top. I see no reason why he'd leave at the moment, he will undoubtedly continue to work at the club after his playing days.
Go get your pension is not a statement I can relate to these days , he and many others have recently earned a fortune which is just reward for their efforts but to make it sound like they're paupers is disingenuous to the supporters who've paid a lot towards their pension pot .
