I think you are right, especially as Adam Johnson's not playing.

    Ricky Alvarez worries me most.

An absolutely top class player who's done it at Milan.

Are you sure you're not confusing him with young Chedwyn?

Let's hope we beat you as a win for us will probably keep us up while I don't see you being relegated regardless.

They know each other from childhood. They played mammy's and daddy's as kids. Chedders plays pop. <ok>

Looking at the picture the club just tweeted, from the Boxing Day game, I am reminded just how bad the amber shorts look, they don't even match the shirt ffs...

Should we take that photo as an indication they are both starting?

It's just a picture of the last time we played them, I wouldn't take it is an indication of anything. they also tweeted pictures with Chester, Diame and Quinn in them.

Does anyone know if there's pay on the gate? Actually I know there isn't, but is there any tickets available for sale tonight at the ticket office?

They were still selling them this afternoon, but isn't there a cut off time?

I don't think they can sell them immediately before kick-off, they normally shut a couple of hours before.

Why? They sell tickets until the game is over in the US. What do they care if someone wants to buy a ticket with 5 min left in the game?

It's to stop away fans trying to buy tickets in the home seats immediately before the game.

Key match stats (supplied by Opta)

There have been six red cards in seven Premier League games between Hull City and Sunderland, with five coming in the last four meetings.

Steve Bruce has five wins in a row as a coach in this fixture, the first two as Sunderland boss and the last three in charge of the Tigers.

Bruce was in charge at Sunderland for 89 Premier League matches winning 28%. He has won 25% as Hull boss, lower than 32% at Wigan and 28% at Birmingham.

After losing the first four Premier League games against Sunderland, Hull have won the last three in a row.

After a run of one home win in 11 Premier League home matches (W1 D3 L7), Hull City have won three of the last four at the KC Stadium (L1).

Sunderland have won just one of their last 10 Premier League matches (W1 D3 L6) and failed to score in the last three.

Sunderland have recovered just three points from losing positions this season, the joint-fewest in the top flight along with Aston Villa.

The Tigers have conceded 11 goals from outside the box this season, the most in the division.

Just 11% of the goals Hull have conceded have come from set pieces, the lowest proportion in the top flight.

The Black Cats have scored the most own goals in the Premier League this season (5).
