I'm sorry but LFC commercial revenues were up 5% year on year before the TV deal kicked in so frankly this is all balls.

5% increase in revenue is a good performance... period

LFC turned in a breakeven type of profit (0.5% about) compared to one off loss as advertised on the previous year removing G&H crap stadium from books... again big improvement.

One persons on this thread obviously hates anything positive about LFc and goes nuts any time out finances are reported...

everyone else is just baiting him too <whistle>

    A 'one off' loss?

You lost £40m in 11/12, £50m the year after and another £50m in the previous set of accounts. Quite how you managed to get that past FFP is quite an achievement, for that alone Ayre needs a pat on the back....

As I said at the start it's this years numbers that will prove whether chucking cash at chasing the CL gravytrain was worthwhile for dem yanks......

p.s. the patronising nonsense has really become tiresome mate. <ok>

those are separate losses... you can have many different losses. all one off. Clealry FFP and all the highly ethical accountants they sued were suitably impressed by our books.

Hey I'm on your side they are waving a big red flag and I just pointed it out so they might stop it............:bandit:

you on 'ther hand seem to want to peddle some line about FSG here and dem yanks suddenly finding out all this investment is not worth it..... just perchance you are playing the same game and we are all just larking about here.

I've said nothing of the sort, I'm merely intrigued to see what sort of return you'll make having made the promised land again.

tbh I'm intrigued as to what their business model actually is and how they have been planning to make their ROI. The next set of accounts will maybe give us a clue.

    standard denial.

you can't dangle what you aid out then blame someone for knowing exactly what you wanted people to react to.

Their business model for the record is to run the place on a break even and make side deals where they clean up... e.g. LFC shift made by warrior on sale in say hong kong.. money to LFC. Lebron jame merhcnaise on sale beside it... money to FSG.

I don't see that our accounts will ever show them making anything.

We got away with the other losses because we weren't in Europe so FFP ignore those.

It was only last years figures did UEFA/FFP kick in since we had qualified for CL hence we were investigated.

Back on topic - great work by FSG and the lads on the pitch to get us back into the black. Very happy with FSG's leadership of this club.

You appear to think that you have the power to mind read, I can confirm that you don't, as I said earlier the patronising nonsense is really becoming trite.

Side deals? wtf are you on about? that example is absolute mince <laugh>

Erm....I may be mistaken but I believe that there is clear evidence that the club are being invested in. Under FFP, I believe that we cannot spend more than we earn on the playing side can we and debt is allowed under certain circumstance (i.e. investment in stadium) - Given how UEFA have just investigated our prior losses and were happy with them and all of the above, I really can't see any reason whatsoever for anyone to question the latest set of numbers unless it's to stir the pot! <laugh>

had we incurred that increased debt with little to no revenue growth, no sign of any investment, anywhere then you'd still be hard pushed to say that the debt was bad, although then you'd be right to question why it had increased. As it is, it's not a concern in the slightest <ok>

i reckon maybe what you really want is next years account to have a big dividend to FSG and then you'll call FSG glaziers mark ii..

Still attempting to mind read and failing desperately.

What would be wrong with FSG making a return?

They've not lumped you with purchase debt like United so could never be compared to the Glazers. You really should think before you type lad.

mind read? nah.... I'm just probing.

there's something you want to say every time our accounts come out but you never quite say it.... why don't you just admit it.

lol, at the denial in the first sentence and the instant contradiction in the 2nd.

Seeing I'm patently conversing with Derren Brown here, I'll not waste the energy typing another repost <laugh>

poor you then... you are the one who's always on any financial thread about LFC ..... if there's nothing you'd like to just get off your chest.. i'm sure you'd feel better.

    consider it therapeutic.
