Do you think that Pochettino will last beyond the summer now that another season is over for Spurs ? Levy has form when it comes to ditching his latest pet project, and while people might say it's too early to sack Pochettino just yet, he might already be lining up the next person to be the fall guy when Spurs fail again. Would Spurs fans like to see Levy being more realistic about Spurs' ambitions and accept that Top 4 is not a natural position for them (even after spending £120m recently to try and buy a place in the Elite) It must rankle on Spurs fans to see Arsene Wenger so decorated with trophies, whilst in the same time Spurs have hired and fired 12 managers since Wenger's appointment and never finished above them in the league. Personally I think Levy will wait a while before sacking Pochettino, because where in the past he has deflected blame onto his managers, people are now beginning to wake up to the fact that he might be the problem underpinning Spurs' perpetual failures. Views from fans of other teams are welcome.
I understand some Spurs fans think that "something is definitely happening but not sure if it has happened yet". I am of course only the "conduit for all these people and their opinions as I haven't made my mind up yet but I do think something maybe happening, but I am not so sure". So what I will do is make lots of posts with contradictory statements that I can call open if any of them turn out right and of course if they are all wrong, then I am being "ironic". Please let's just keep to the thread and don't start cheap wumming just to show me up - my names HIAG and I am here all week (all day every day)
I got moaned at for using Quantum Theory and Universal Physics and debating Natural Science and the Paradigm Paralysis so i try to keep it simple so everyone understands
As I've said before, if you have this superior intellect, shouldn't you be putting it to better use than echoing all Piskie's arguments? With a top notch brain like yours you'd think you'd come up with your own point of view now and again. Or even better start looking for a cure for cancer. It really is a waste what you you do with your high IQ.
Morgan Schnederlin has upped the ante today, saying that Southampton should be aiming for a top 4 finish. They play Palace tonight and have the chance to put even more distance between them and the Spuds. When you consider the difference between what the two squads cost and with Southampton losing so many players last summer, you have to wonder whether Levy is kicking himself that he didn't go for Koeman and leave Pochettino at Soton.
It doesn't matter who's driving it. It always ends up crashing. We always here from the Spuds about how they are going to overtake Arsenal, but since Wenger was appointed they have had 12 different managers who've all managed to drive that Juggernaut off the cliff.
