I have not been on for a while but wanted to put one up today Wolverhampton 5.10 Sexy Secret I think it will run very well and hopefully get it's nose in front.
Evening all, just back off holiday. Was at Meydan the other night... What a boring place!! Really sad news re Cavalryman. All well?
Swanny has turned into the world's greatest tipster Nass - about 11 on the trot at all prices. Apart from that, it's Cheltenham next week - what more do you need to know?
Serves you right for hob-nobbing with Arabs. Won't be at the festival this year (struggling with time off work and flight costs) but am trying to get Tuesday and Friday off so I can at least watch on t'internet
The highlight of Dubai was seeing a lady in full dress carrying a life size cardboard cut out of someone from One Direction (my wife assures me that is right) around a shopping centre with her hands in the nether regions of the cut out.
Just looked in to add another name to the Swanny homage subscription-list. And what an apt avatar - proud, calm and serenely gliding on the surface, while underneath everything is working like the clappers to bring happiness and much-needed wealth into a dark and dangerous world. Glide on, you beautiful and graceful creature !
Unbelievable again swanny and well done Smokey. Those posts on missing work for Cheltenham have me laughing..This is going to be the first Cheltenham I will miss since I can remember due to work commitments...thing is I also have a stag do this weekend and wouldn't it be terrible if I slipped and accidentally broke an ankle or something
Food poisoning is the way to go mate, they'll never be able to prove its a lie and you don't have to injure yourself!
Well, thanks again everybody, but Nassau brought me down to earth with a thump, although Sir Barney didn't deserve that after his terrific double the other day. For anyone who has the time, please take another decco at Tom O'Brien's ride on the rather quirky Azabitmour yesterday (ATR - registration free), surely a candidate for ride-of-the-year so far? I labelled the horse as being "prone to sloppy jumping", but actually he's a bit of an oddball, with a real engine, however. Tom never touched him with the whip, even after the disastrous start, just humoured him into contention, afterwhich the horse found that he was enjoying it all. Really, a fine young jockey, who can do 10-stone riding weight, I believe (that makes about 26lb of lead in the saddle yesterday?). I wish you all the very best of luck for the Cheltenham Festival, especially to all those who are going there. (Eye doctor appointment this morning, but really, she's very nice).
Nass, me old love, you to would have been on Miss Crick had you not been off gallivanting. The word amongst the old county set, for which I know you are a fully paid up member, was very big re this one. She’ll now go to Newbury, in 18 days time, for their rich £30,000 bumper or head to Aintree for their Listed Mares event at the old GN meeting. Don’t miss her wherever she goes. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more...
