Yeah, but not much, and not for a while, eh? Sure, you had that FA Cup win, last season, but that must have seemed like an oasis in a barren desert to you Gooners. Come the end of this season, The Smug One is going to have at least two major trophies to his name, which is more than Whinger has achieved in quite some while. I, more than anyone else, here, loves a good wum and I really do appreciate good wit, but for a Gooner to wum the Chelsea boys is putting you on a collision course with a fool's errand. I'd stick to patronizing the Spanners, if I was you. <oK>
Are you trying to suggest that the mighty Community Shield is not a major honour? Two shiny trophies in our cabinet at the moment! Chelsea will catch up if they win the league
You are such a sad case. So desperate are you to get one over Arsenal at all costs, because of our greater trophy haul compared to Spurs, that you now have to arselick Chelsea fans. If our FA Cup win is a oasis in a barren dessert (your words not mine) then what the **** is your absence of any recognisable major trophies then (and most people only count League Titles, FA Cups, Champions League, The European Cup, and the old UEFA Cup, and NOT the League Cup). Spurs are a middle sized club with ambitions to be a big club like Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and both of the Manchester clubs. We are all classes as big clubs because our trophy hauls warrant that status. You are unlikely to finish in the top 6 so get used to that fact.
Ok please state the following facts so that we are all clear on the matter: 1 when did Spurs last finish above Arsenal for 3 consecutive seasons 2 when did Spurs last win the FA Cup and how many have they won 3 when did Spurs last win the League title, and how many have they won 4 how many major trophies (not The League Cup) have Spurs won 5 how many managers have Spurs had since Wenger took charge of Arsenal 6 how many times have Spurs played in the European Cup or Chanpions League i await your reply. Thanks
Avoiding answering my questions ? what have you got to fear, that the truth of the matter is that Spurs have always been in our shadow and it will always be that way. and to answer your question "how is that relevant to the comparison that you tried to draw between Arsenal and Chelsea" - I was pointing out your arselicking of the recent Chelsea trophy haul as it is better than ours. I will still answer it answer is simple, we have more trophies than Chelsea, they have won more trophies recently, (only Man United and Liverpool have more trophies than us by the way), Chelsea have more trophies than Spurs, and actually we have more than both of you combined ! we regard Chelsea as a big club now due to their recent success (as we do Man City) but we are unable to regard Spurs as a big club as you haven't won any of the major trophies recently and have not won the league for over 50 years. Once you trophy haul matches ours or even Chelsea/City, then you will be regarded as one of the big clubs
Is City's trophy haul bigger than Spurs? I guess they have won more leagues, but maybe fewer European trophies.
I think City have more than Spurs, and actually there are lots of clubs with more Newcastle Villa Everton to name a few. So before they spout off about Power Shifts they need to win some trophies to overtake these other clubs
hiag are are you going to state the facts or not, or are you too busy trying to make pictures of piskie
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_football_clubs_in_England_by_competitive_honours_won According to this Spurs are level with Everton Villa, ahead of Newcastle and City. They are holding on just, thanks to their ok European record (three trophies). Amazing that a club of Arsenal's size only has two European trophies. Can't think of any club as big with such a small collection
