Calamty Jane is an embarrassing ****tard, though fortunately he almost never posts on our board, I don't even think he's a City fan. If you want to give him a sit ban, it's fine by us, he has the wit and intelligence of a house brick.
I recall Calamty posting about never being a City fan, swaning off in a huff and pledging allegiance to Sunderland. He's one of your own, he's one of your own, he's not our ****wit, he's one of your own.
So he'd wum his own team? That doesn't really add up. Could be a mag but more likely just an all round arsehole with a few accounts wumming multiple boards. Let him crack on. He's doing no harm really.
We'll be having a crack at the Championship trophy again next season if we don't get something off Hull tomorrow!
Er, no, it means you weren't good enough even to win automatic promotion and had to enter an end-of-season tournament to go up. I've got nowt against Hull BTW, and we've won ****-all since 1973, just I think it's daft to call a play-off final "a major honour".
You reckon? I'd say league cup is the cut off point. I don't think wining the Championship should be one either. Even though it does mean it's been 42 years since we last won a major honor by my logic.
The Championship certainly isn't a 'major honour' and the cut off point surely it the league cup even though it means we go from a handful of years since an 'honour' back to *ahem* a bit longer ago than that. Even though I wouldn't include the inter-toto cup in a serious manner it is what I sometimes refer to jokingly as the last trophy Newcastle won (back in 2008ish). At least it required actually qualification and then winning stuff, when Newcastle won the championship we qualified for the competition by being relegated...
