Err, you read back any of your posts lately?

Listen, I've been to Carrow Road hundreds of times. I've been to Portman Road tens of times. The atmosphere yesterday is the sort of atmosphere you boys dream of creating these days, so when you say the atmosphere was 'crap', you're wrong - you know you're wrong - and you're saying it to get a reaction because you're pissed off that your club was beaten yet again by Norwich. I sang for the full 90 minutes and I was not alone. My voice is only now returning. My calf muscles are shot to bits after bouncing up and down for two hours prior to the game in the pub and again in the ground. I totally agree Ipswich fans were 'JUST AS LOUD' (you're words, slightly giving yourself away though) until the opening goal - but then you'd expect that. It was a key game for both clubs and a local derby! Even your own player (Berra) has come out and said the home fans created a fantastic atmosphere (got to laugh really, having a dig at his own home fans one suspects) and that he'd rather they been kept quiet, and as we know, Berra is a world class defender so you have to respect his word.

So I think we're done here. Probably time to dust off the old 'you've never won **** all' quote - you've got nothing else left.

Honestly never heard you sing that, probably because we were too busy making more noise. You sung it at Carrow Road before the previous derby game in 2010 and we all applauded. We even sang his name with you guys. It was pretty special, as was he.

I hate making long term predictions but we're certainly on fire atm. We're not going to win every game between now and the end of the season that's for sure, but I reckon we're not going to drop too many points either especially at home. I'd like to think we'll finish in the top two and that's certainly what we should be aiming for. We've come into form at just the right time, we've got the momentum, we've got the squad to do it and I'll actually be disappointed with just a play-off position now and I never thought I'd be saying that a few weeks ago <ok>

Something that is often forgotten by most teams, Norwich should have won yesterday simply based on their squad of 16. That subs bench is ridiculous in itself - Hooper, Jerome, Dorrans, Turner... The concept of being able to bring on a £5million striker late on is some way away from us at this moment <ok>

Also, the comments of how we could be in the top 6 are quite juvenile if I'm honest. Just think back to your humblings to Reading, Boro, Charlton etc. and they will probably be wondering how on earth you are in the top 6 based on those matches... Same for Derby at Fulham on Saturday. We battered a disappointing Boro 2-0 at our place but that was clearly an aberration, it doesn't make them a bad team, this league is about consistency.

We played badly in both games but as all of you have commented that you have only seen us twice all season that would seem an unfair statement given how results and performances vary so wildly in this league.

What was clear as day on Sunday was that our small squad is showing the signs of a tough season. (We have used the least number of players of any team this season.) where others, (Yourselves & Derby) have rotated the squad with little compromise of the quality. As I said, we don't have the luxury of having a bench that costs in the millions of £'s and our team has played the majority of the season and the rigour may be starting to show for a couple of them <ok>

In all honesty, having clawed our way back into a great position, if we don't finish top two this season I will be truly horrified. We're the best team in this division and as such, we should go on and win the league. Others point to the two big home games we have coming up as the key but its the games like Wigan and Millwall that we have to win in order to get promoted.

That makes two of us - and, I suspect there are many more. Tony Munky is the only eternal optimist I can think of all the way through this season.
Whether it was the appointment of Alex Neil or KIO's commitment to the match day threads that's brought about this transformation...I couldn't care a t@ss, but long may it continue <ok>

It has nothing to do with the result! Why do you take everything so personally? It was a good atmsophere sure, but nowhere near as good as I have experienced at Carrow Road before.

I've even had the good grace to admit we weren't fantastic, but because I am saying in my opinion I didn't think it was fantastic that somehow relates to me being a bad loser?! Pathetic comment. Okay it was rocking all game you sang song after song after song and we did nothing. Happy? !

Yes, but we didn't have a manager at the time.

    We do now.

And to be fair, I've seen you play maybe 7 or 8 times this season now - you've been awful in each and every one. Perhaps you've played inspiring football in all the other 25-odd games – I don't know – but I think it's unlikely. You just got on a roll, kept a steady starting eleven and built up some momentum. And there's no doubt about it, you have the ability to bully teams. Norwich stood up to the bullying yesterday but I can see why others would buckle. I think you've been well and truly found out this year though.

Arrogant much!? Sure you're top 4, but to definitely be the best side in the division I'm not so sure. Derby Bournemouth and Boro will have something to say about that. You four are lightyears ahead of the rest.

Who have you seen us play? I am actually a very fan and if you list the games I will agree which games I saw that we were shocking in.

I've read all your comments today and you've come across as a bad loser in almost every comment. Now you're saying it WAS a good atmosphere? You said it wasn't a minute ago. I'm done here - its boring. I'll just ignore you. Its easier and you won't have to put up with me keep replying.

    From memory:

    Norwich home
    Norwich away
    Brighton away
    Southampton home
    Derby home
Charlton away (I think it was away - game was a non event)
    Wigan away

Can't think of any more but there may be more. Not sure of your results in those games but I'm pretty sure you played crap or hoofball in all of them.

    Jesus wept..

I've glanced through all the posts on this thread and there it nothing untoward in either direction.. some arrogance and some debate.

Never understand the level of 'flouncing off' that takes place on these boards, particularly on here

It wasn't a bad atmosphere Superman but in no way shape or form was it as good as it has been in other derbies.

Last time I went to Carrow Road we were abusing each other all game, not yesterday. At least I can admit we weren't on top form!

    From memory:

Norwich home - Didn't see as in France, heard we were terrible
Norwich away - We were crap
Brighton away - Didn't go but heard good in spells.
Southampton home - In Russia so didn't see! Heard we were crap
Derby home - We were bad but deserved a point Derby did nothing
Charlton away (I think it was away - game was a non event) - Yep non event should have been a draw saw it.
Wigan away - recovered from operation but a lot of fans genuinely believe that was one of our best performances of the season.

Have you not thought that you felt the atmosphere was more sullied because of your own fans? Many around me commented that it was the poorest Ipswich away following for a while (not that I totally agreed with it but you were quiet)? If you don't get involved you tend to blank the rest out and you're hardly going to be excited listening to us chanting.

I would add Wigan & Reading at home and then you have the 'full set' of our 'below par/shoddy performances'

8 league matches out of 34... It's not as if Norwich have had 8 bad matches all season :emoticon-0127-lipss

We didn't go on a run of 1 loss in 20 or so matches for nothing. I think people need to appreciate that no one is that good in this league.. if they were they wouldn't be here <ok>

    Holy ****. Really?

Maybe I've got the wrong game. You only had about 200 fans there. May have been a Friday night. Was that Wigan?
