It`s the old "lull the opposition" trick, one day soon we will have quite a good game

 

It'll take more than one game to cling onto 4th though.

Your remaining games look easier than other clubs playing for top 4.

 

I haven`t seen us have an easy game yet this season (well maybe QPR), but still haven`t seen a team we should fear. In all seriousness there is only City at the moment who i feel are capable of demolishing teams and even they change from week to week.

 

Tomorrow v Barca will hopefully sap them before we play them.

Not happy that we've got a long trip to Turkey a few days before playing them.

 

Do you think Brendan will go for the EL or Prem? i really don`t see you winning the EL but 4th is still very on.

I don't think Rodgers thinks like that tbh, he will shuffle the squad to suit but even in games where he doesn't need to make changes he does.
Think his philosophy is if its there to go for let's go for it.

 

Yeah, your`e probably right with that and maybe it`s the best way to go, keep the team playing at top notch see what you can achieve

Yes..... I was not going to post until after burnley

We gave 9/9 in current block which is 3 more than I expected from whole block

LFC

Burnley (H) - Win. I feel sturrdige will play
Swansea (A) - Draw. I feel they are quite good at home.
Utd (H) - Win. Must win and i feel seeing UiR says its our cup final that we will win.
Arsenal (A) - Draw. good away draw would be good
Newcastle (H) - Win. has to be based on newkie away record
Hull (A) - Difficult. I can see us ****ing it up. They cannot defend so i think 0-0 is ironed on.
West brom (A) - Can see a win. they will be safe
QPR (H) - Win... no question. They are woeful away and will be in the mire
Chelsea (A) - I think this is right between potential CL semi first and second leg. I can see us taking a point if cheslea make it there. we will be up for it.
Palace (H) - win no question. they have nothing to play for away by this game
Stoke (A) - win. i am confident based on stokes new style and a nice may warm day at that ground.

no losses? #optimist.

Utd:

Newcastle (A) - close. utd are ****e away. newcastle are plain ****e. win
Tottenham (H) - difficult call. I think draw
LFC (A) - already predicted "little" team to win thier cup final. loss
Aston Villa (H) - has to be win. utd have villa in thier pockets for years
Man City (H) - I say loss. City love to beat utd
Chelsea (A) - I think draw. utd will set up for draw. this one is right between CL QF first and second legs. cheslea could just not bother
Everton (A) - Everton need a result. I think draw
West brom (H) - Win i reckon
Crystal Palace (A) - Draw? I vote 3-3 to hurt utd badly
Arsenal (H) - this is for the top 4. Its a huge game. this one is going to decide a lot. draw?
Hull (A) - win. hull are easy meat by then. bruce will roll over.

I've predicted an awful lot of draws here.

West Ham (H) - west ham implosion. arsenal to win (after losing to utd in fa cup)
Newcastle (A) - Draw. useless in north east.
Liverpool (H) - draw
Burnley (A) - Win?
Sunderland (H) - win
Chelsea (H) - loss. haven't got it in them
Hull (A) - win
Swansea (H) - win
Man Utd (A) big big game. draw.

so....... going to be very very tight

I might be giving utd too little credit of course... and LFC too much credit.

I think we see that Cheslea play all 3. LFC play utd at anfield and then arsenal play utd at old trafford in a potential winner take all game.

It could be just those few games that decide top 4.

 

I don't go game by game but currently have LFC on for 72 points and Man Utd on 67 also (not official #predictions just working estimates)

I don't bother with Arsenal, they could do anything but are more Man Utd's problem than ours

 

I just thought with so few left i may as well jsut see where i'd come out at.

It'd be fascinating if the utd arsenal match at old tfford did end up as a winner take all for 4th.

And we exceeded my guesses and took 2nd

 

Until Chelsea actually win their game in hand against West Ham and don't slip up against Southampton why rule out 1st
