Someone pass the Kleenex to HIAG so he can mop up his tears before he has to make another of his "ironic" posts to say he didn't think Spurs would win and it doesn't matter that they lost and they were saving themselves for the big push for 4th and it's all part of their master plan
Too late, the silly **** already has. He posted it right after the Spuds conceded the first goal. ****ing pussy
Thought Fab was OK second half today, did he standard always dip in the second half of the season or was that myth?
Not myth, I was saying it at the start of this season, in 2008 and 2011 season he did go quiet during second period for us. Especially in 2008.
He did seem to dip but I thought it was the other players being injured all the time and it meant he never got a rest. well done today for beating the Spuds. Spurs are the real specialists in failure as they have not won the League for over 50 years yet claim to be one of the big clubs !
50 ****ing years ! Also, as I'm sure Chelsea would admit, the Capital one cup is a minor cup compared to the other domestic trophies. You have to go all the way back to 1991 when the spuds last won a major honour. This was back in the days of Mullets and Day-Glo T shirts.
Had to share this from the Arsenal board. Straight out of the genuine Spurs league cup final party pack from the official THFC website please log in to view this image
I like the instructions to cut along the dotted line and HOLD ALOFT ! pure comedy gold from the Spuds own website - it's no wonder they are all so ****ing deluded. Sad ****tards all of them
No, he didn't get the whole blame, but he was on massive fire during the first part of the season, he was competing on par with Ronaldo, that's how good he was, and he was not just assisting goals, but scoring a lot too. He was also scoring in games that mattered, Liverpool away, United at home etc.
I highly doubt anyone gives a **** about him with the Carling Cup.....And we've already won 2 trophies in the past year, and have a good chance of retaining the cup this year and making history if we do so. And yes, it could happen a lot, but maybe at the same time it may not, ;-). It's only one trophy now, the CC, and maybe the league in May, but Chelski haven't shown that much indication this season that they're going to go and dominate for the next years and years to come.
Joses comment on the league cup is propably due to it being the first trophy he won with us. So it's always going to be special for him.
I disagree, we have a youngish team which is about to enter its peak, unlike City that is past its best. Why shouldn't this team win more titles?
Well it's true City have a lot of aged players, but like you, they have an abundance of money, and something tells me they will be splashing a lot of that cash this summer and getting rid of quite a few players who aren't up to the standards they want. And I expect both Arsenal-Liverpool to kick on, both teams struggled for a while in the early part of the season which is why both never had a chance at the league, but in the last 15 EPL league games or so, both teams have finally found their form and feet, and form wise have been quite on par with Chelsea-City. In our last 15 league games we have won 11 out of 15, with Chelsea 9 out of 15, and Liverpool too are on a very good similar run to ours. So both Liverpool and Arsenal since December have been largely matching Chelsea in terms of result and form, but because we both started so badly, taking us nearly 4 months to finally get our feet together, it was too late and we were always going to be behind Chelsea no matter what. So like I said, don't see any indications or reasons to suggest Chelsea are going to go on and dominate the league for the next years to come. For all we know it's still not even over this season, yes you could go 8 points above Citeh, but until it happens who knows, and then even if you go 8 points above Citeh again who knows what can happen, they closed the gap before, and maybe they can do it again. Highly doubtful, I think Chelsea will win the league this year, but still not beyond the realms of impossibility.
Agree we are not certain to win league but our team is going to peak in the next two seasons and city are hampered by FFP. While arsenal have Wenger in charge they are not a threat to us. United will rise again though. We will buy in the summer. We need someone in the pivot, ideally Pogba. Another wide man. God, Mou would get the best out of Sanchez and maybe a CB
