"It is a big competition." (Jose Mourhino) This is how much this competition means to one of the world's greatest ever managers. The man (who had previously branded Arsenal's Arsene Whinger "a specialist in failure") knows that the stakes are high for one of Europe's toughest and most prestigious competitions, and he is looking forward to the big occasion when he can stand with pride on the Wembley touch-line, as his Chelsea side take on the mighty Spurs. Some people are already labeling this match as "a clash of titans," and it is easy to understand why, as the current league-leaders take on the side that humiliated them so easily in the league. Even neutrals must be salivating at the prospect of watching two of the world's finest teams go head-to-head. By all means use this thread as the touch-stone for commentary on the momentous occasion, but I would ask non Spurs/Chavs to respect the feelings of those for whom this game really does mean something, and to refrain from cheap wummery. Thank you.
I'm going to the game. Should be an interesting day. Hopeful but not expecting a Spurs win. Preferably one which has Mourinho fapping again but preferably without the media ****fest over him which inevitably follows.
Silly **** isn't even watching it, he's too busy squirming on the north london power shift thread He's even resorted to making pictures about me because I have wound him up so much.
Chelsea havent strung two passes together and spurs have played their natural game very well. But you just know chelsea would be the one scoring.
Only thing that matters is the score. Can already see you though after the game with you losing but celebrating WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM, LET'S MAKE A DVD OF IT.
Game over, lol, as I said last week your bottle job is complete. Down to 7th, out of Europe, and now losing the cup final. And it was a former Arsenal man Fabregas providing the assist, lol, have that you spud ****ers. Who's season is imploding now? HAHAHAHA
Well by shift I think he meant a shift in their arse cheeks being stretched from all these bad results, hahahaha, they are ****ting themselves right now. I think that's what he meant.
Great support from Spurs fans all leaving the stadium, not even waiting to applaud their team with the runners up medals.
TBH what the **** does the this trophy signify, what is it even there for? We already have the league, and the FA Cup, the country's actual main domestic cup competition, so what the **** is this cup meant to represent or signify? They just created it out of their ass, the trophy really has no meaning behind it.
Former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas BBC Radio 5 live at Wembley Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham Posted at "That was as close as you are going to get to the perfect final performance from Chelsea. They never looked in danger throughout the game. We didn't see anything from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Petr Cech did not have a meaningful save to make."
