It is reported that Patrick Vieira has turned down the offer of a coaching role at the Emirates. What does he know that we don't or is it about money, again? Nobody seems to have any loyalty to Wenger, i'm wondering why.
To be fair mate, it's a link to the Sun and a story provider by an 'insider'. So thanks, but I'll take it with a huge pinch of salt.
Vieira isn't a turncoat. When he left Arsenal it was because the club were indifferent to keeping him. He has only ever done good things for Arsenal.
Of course players respect Wenger. He may be the most stubborn man alive but hes still a world class manager.
Now the Va Va Voom geezer would almost like nothing better than to come back....... What you say is true. I recall the Viera conundrum raise it's head at season's end back from around the middle of the last decade. Will he or won't he? He's done good things at Arsenal. He and the VVM geezer but does he really want to come back? I'm not entirely sure. I think though that it would benefit us to have the return of one of the illustrious back four in some form of coaching capacity. What this team needs apart from filling in the blanks resulting from the exodus is a strong defensive strategy. We haven't had that for a while, it seems to me..... Cheers n Cheerio 4 now
Actually. There's an interview with Vieira with Lee Dixon where he explains that the board said that they were 'neutral' on keeping him. He said it was that that made him realise that the club were indifferent to him staying. He said it was that that made the difference.
Robin van Bergkamp Now the Va Va Voom geezer would almost like nothing better than to come back....... the only reason he wants to come back now is because Barca didnt want him anymore,it was not so long ago when we lost to Barca in the CL final and that Va Va Voom Geezer said they kicked him of the Park and he'd never play for them, and guess what, the next thing we knew he couldnt wait to join them, and so he did.
