Given the way the game is heading at the Emirates, there's every possibility that we can go above Everton in the table on Tuesday, (and possibly stay there seeing as Everton are away to Stoke the day after). Stoke away was horrible for us; it always is. N'Doye was knackered, Jelavic fragile, Brady injured, etc. It still took a dodgy goal to beat us, mind. If we beat Sunderland, it will be in a week when our rivals on 22 points all have tough(er) games to play. If two of them lose, (likely), we will be 7 points clear of relegation with 10 to play. I do not believe that a team that has won just 4 times all season can win more than 3 games in the last 10, so I reckon we can stay up with as little as 33 points. Hopefully we can get more. However, we HAVE to beat Sunderland.
The problem is if we dont beat Sunderland as then we are required to beat every single team that we have a shot at beating or we are relegated. This is not an easy fixture list for the rest of the season and in fact it resembles Norwich's end of the season fixture list which relegated them.
