I'd play Gibbs and Chambers in this one. No need to change the CB's even though they had a ****ing mare against Monaco, but I can't see them repeating the same mistakes again and I'd hope it will act as a kick up the arse.
i dont agree with this logic. By the same logic Sanchez is a luxury player. Arsenal will be 3rd or 4th with him and they were 3rd or 4th without him. Therefore no Arsenal players are deciding factors and I guess that means you should sell all those luxuries. It would be quite a big year of rebuilding if Wenger took your logic. Please note by the way that Arsenal won their first trophy in a decade in Ozil's first season in which he played a key role through the competition.
Arsenal XI: Ospina, Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Gibbs, Coquelin, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud.
We need to win to keep our own domestic momentum going, and with Liverpool on top form right now, it's even more imperative to get the three points.
TBH don't know why Monreal isn't starting, unless he has a slight knock we don't know about, why in the hell did he lose his place? Doesn't exactly send the right message and doesn't make any sense.
Probably being rested for QPR and United. Would prefer him to start but Gibbs is a good player as well.
'Key role'? 3rd round - didn't start and came on 75th minute when game was won 4th round - one assist in a 4-0 win against a league 1 team in 90 minutes 5th round - didn't score or assist in 90 minutes QF - one goal in a 4-1 win against Everton SF - didn't play Final - Did nothing in 105 minutes against Hull If that's your idea of 'key' then fair enough
