Not sure if we are doing a forum preview for the festivel as in previous years.if so it would probably be wise just to set up a thread for predictions on all the main races? Just a thought

Could be a landmark day at Huntingdon where Lady Cecil has her first runner under NH rules. You can get 5/2 on her mare Perfect Summer in the 2.00 race.

Another first runner is WAYWARD JACK in the Sedgefield bumper odddy. They will want to start with a winner and there are worse reasons for backing horses!

I think you're on to something there Oddy so that one and CROCO MISTER 11/1 in the following race in singles and a double will do for me. Probably not the best idea having a punt on a hangover but sod it <cheers>

Good luck fellas, I need to get a pig sandwich into me ASAP!!

Looks a winnable bumper that one stick - a very mixed bunch. The lad taking 10lbs off the bottom one might swing it.

    Very sad news about Cavalryman.

Good luck today lads. Nothing's really getting me interested so will hang fire.

€60,000 to the winner of the grade 3 hurdle in Auteuil. €70,000 to the winner of the grade 3 chase. Unbelievable money in French racing.

I don't know much about the French form but Bayan and Gitane Du Berlais both have a go and they're both verging on grade one class over here.

They're onto you Stick, no value when you tip them, so they keep 'em at home. :)

    16:30 Huntingdon - Inner Drive

(Many in this race have pretty poor form, so might be worth taking a chance (at the freely-available 5/2) with Alan King's former P2P'er. Stamina-packed pedigree on both sides, while sire Heron Island seemed to act on just about any ground. Heron Island is also the sire of Thedrinkymeister (that's a hell of a name for a racehorse?), who also boasts stamina-packed breeding on the dam's side too. Maybe a very small r/f with these two as well, even though this particular bet is an unlucky one for me! However, in view of what Alan King has said on his website, will keep the win stake down to a small one:

"We only have five runners this week-end, but I am looking forward to Inner Drive at Huntingdon on Sunday. He is a point-to-point winner who showed promise in bumpers, and, though he has had a few niggles so might need his first run in the maiden hurdle, he is a horse we have always liked and, in fact, he is still entered in a couple of the novices at Cheltenham, though they may come too soon."

Keep on track should go very close in the 4.50 at navan.dont think ireland v england will be a classic but think ireland will just edge it in a low scoring game.

I like the form of Bayan but it's hard not to be impressed by the way GITANE DU BERLAIS disposed of that Scilly Isles field last time out Bob.

At 5/2 with the allowances considered is a bet for me. Also bunged it in with the other two for a speculative eway treble.

    2:50 Navan - Badgerfort 7/2
    3:30 Huntingdon - Take The Mick 7/2

Best of luck with your footy bet cityhull, i've not bothered today but i actually fancy Liverpool to beat City given the scousers current home form

Say, Drever, well done on winning Reeb's competition yesterday! Too damn difficult for me, get too tired after working-out form of only three races or so...............:emoticon-0100-smile

Cheers Swanny!! You've been in grand form recently!!

Have to say though that the forum is on fire throughout pretty much the whole year. Really are shrewdies on here and I would take this forum to beat any other out there tip-for-tip. Every single day we see someone banging in the winners... If only there was a magic formula to determine who's tips were going to win on certain days, we'd be wiping our arses with £50's <rofl>

Yesterday was a great day but I'm worried I've made my move too early and will be plugging on at the one-pace come Cheltenham week <laugh>

Cleverer people than me reckon that home advantage in these Internationals is worth ten points. That should certainly give Ireland the edge. Could I back against England.....could I hell....!
