Just thought I'd put up a thread for us to discuss anything and everything not necessarily regarding the mighty Bristol City FC
My first subject is The News of The World. Utter scum and I hope something gets done about Rupert Murdochs stranglehold on this countries media and the influence he has over political matters. Blokes not even British FFS
With the NOTW going the next big step should be the S*N,remember the Hillsborough story?.At least the the other rags,ie The Sport, and The Star are quite tongue in cheek with their reports.
your dark horses for promotion? (CANT MENTION US) i say brighton, got a terrific signing in maikel smith out of the blue, and a young up and coming manager along with a fantastic stadium why i for one can't wait to go to.
Notw now gone, feel sorry for those employed who weren't involved, but would hope those that were will still be accountable. Good ol Rio Ferdinand, tries to come across as the family man an then he has a whole harem to play with(lucky sod, well you would if you could)#oooofffff (for those that are twitterettes). Should have taken his own advice and #stayonyourfeet Rio, lol
I fail to believe that the people currently there weren't up to anything bad. Yes, they may not have been involved in phone hacking, but I'm willing to bet they hang around the same pubs and bars that the rest of the crooked tabloid journalists do, doing their lines of coke and discussing who to stitch up for next week (note: this is well-documented and actually happens). I'd say the Twitter abuse these people are receiving is probably justified for aligning with such a terrible rag. The ones I feel sorry for is those who aren't on the journalist side. There will be a lot of cleaners, receptionists and general office workers who will lose their jobs because of the terrible actions of those who make that paper.
