We h we have several seasons ahead of exactly that. We're they not top of table at one point. Maybe mighty can verify. He's a great man for the old stats
I heard they had all bought burkas as a disguise and had fled to Syria via Turkey and joined ISIS. Mighty is calling himself jihadi Joanne and is flogging blow jobs in the local bazaar.
Disagree Chippy, For the time Adryan had on field he played well and got stuck in. The whole team before him and Antenucci came on are the ones who threw a 2 goal lead away, not Adryan or Antenucci. I've said it all along, our midfield and attack are our problems, Redders will not see that because he always picks his favourite golden boys and he doesn't want anyone outshining them, especially Cook who brings no impact to team imo. Redders committed himself to Austin in media, so he keeps playing him so as not to make himself look a fool, yes he scored, but not much else. Mowatt has no pace and his performances are going backwards, his honeymoon was over ages ago. Cook runs around a lot but creates no impact for team, either in attack or defence, his honeymoon is over too. Murphy is same, his few honeymoon games are over and he's come back to the fold, Taylor is doing all running down line. Morison, many, including Redders said he brought a lot to team, WHAT? we haven't exactly been banging'em in for fun since he started playing again. Byram had to be moved to RM to get something better out of him cos he was flunking at RB. He does however bring more impact to team than Cook, Mowatt, Austin and Murphy. Adryan played brilliantly against Sunderland, Redders subbed him and dropped him, so much for Redders claiming players get in team on merit. Sloth played brilliantly against Sunderland and Reading, in his natural position, Redders then played him out of position for the next games, REALLY? anyone see a pattern to Redders decisions. Morison couldn't, and can't score, after 9 games of the bleeding obvious it took an injury to get him out the team. Sharp started and did what Morison couldn't, he scored, mind you he didn't do much after that either. Redders is not picking the team for the team and club, he's picking it for Redders own agenda, and he's been detrimental to team in my opinion. I know some like him, but he's not a coach at first team level.
Morning all. Another hard game today. We need a win, & our 16th man (the Kop end & our crowd) will be an important factor. Leeds to win 2-1 & Morrison to break his duck. Usual 451/4231 formation with
Sunday morning all. Yesterday was irritating. But what can you do when a CB we have all rated so far makes a pr$t of himself. Yes we should have won, or at least got a draw. But let's stop this abuse of Redders. We may have lost, but with a bit of tweaking, we'll be in a much better position next season
With all due respect. If it's Redders tweaking we will STILL be under delivering given some of the players we have. Good coaches get the best out of average players. Redders is not a good coach at senior level. Sorry to disagree with you.
Not too bad Eire. Think it might MS, but also believe that it's eminantly controllable and manageable. But time will tell.
Being 5 hours behind out here I saw 2-0 up just before going out and must admit I didnt feel confident we would hang on for a win. Didn't expect to concede three though at home. Which CB screwed up, Cooper or Bamba?
It's very easy to blame the defence for goals conceded, especially an individual error like Bamba's. BUT, it's supposed to be a team game, so you can blame the DMs for the defence being put under pressure, plus you can blame the attackers for putting the DMs on the spot. You also have to bear in mind that Watford are particularly good at scoring goals for fun. It's not as though we were 4-1 up and lost 6-4, for instance (I will always be scarred by that Preston match. Witnessed every single minute, sadly).
WJ, were you taking a pot shot at me, this is custard tarts at 20 paces if you was pal... I was just replying to Ristacs question, which I presumed was in regards to Watfords 3rd goal. I totally agree it's a team game and how the mids put our defence under pressure. The mids once again allowed Watford too much space in midfield and they had time to make a cup of tea before scoring. Our midfield is a big problem, Watford played the diamond and completely over run us in midfield for the best part of game, especially on their counters, they left our midfield for dead. They had 2 strikers to our one donkey up front, which shows that us having a lone wandering nomad up front isn't working; putting a donkey on to replace the wandering nomad doesn't sound like good tactics to me, but it did show a donkey can score more than a wandering nomad, if nothing else. What it also showed is how wrong Redders was in continuing with Morison, even though the donkey did bugger all else during match. Like most I was excited to be 2-0 up in such a short time against a team like Watford, but I also suspected Watford would come back at us hard, and they did. Bambi made a bad decision for their 3rd goal, probably didn't realise the Watford player was still behind him, no excuse though; when in doubt kick it out, that's what all my coaches instilled in the defences of the teams I played for. Redders is stubborn and blind, he's allowed the same problems to continue, and probably will if his pattern is anything to go by. I suspect Redders will play Sharp for next game cos he scored.
LOL, no pot shot intended, LL. Wanted to blame the defence myself, but thought I'd be grown up for once & not chuck teddy.
WJ, you chuck teddy if you want to, writing it down is a good way of expelling your frustrations from your body, bit like farting a lot.
