Two big games this Sunday and all eyes will be on the Premier League. Liverpool v Man city. Liverpool have been in good form, but slipped up in midweek in the Europey League. Although their premier league form has been good and they will want to cement their place above the Spuds. Man City however will want to claw back the gap on Chelsea who have the distraction of playing in the Mickey mouse pot on Sunday. Arsenal v Everton. Arsenal will want to leapfrog Utd again and reclaim 3rd place. They too had a poor midweek European game and will want to atone for that loss. Everton have had a relatively poor season so far and have blown hot and cold, although they were the only English team who registered a win in midweek in the Europey league. ________________________________________________________________________ A City win would leave them just 3 points behind Chelsea. A Liverpool win would put them 4 points ahead of the Spuds who languish in 7th An Arsenal win would put them in 3rd potentially just 4 points behind City (if they lose) An Everton win wouldn't make any difference to anybody. Of minor significance yes. Something along the same lines as the LDV Vans trophy I believe. Anyway, the big guns are out in force in the premier league tomorrow. All eyes will be on the important games
Team news ahead of the lunchtime KO: Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho returns on Sunday after being rested against Besiktas but Jordan Henderson's ankle problem will be reassessed. Full-back Glen Johnson should have recovered from illness, while Lazar Markovic is available after suspension. Manchester City's Yaya Toure returns after missing the midweek Champions League defeat through suspension. Forward Wilfried Bony could be in line for his first start after making his City debut off the bench last weekend.
