    The best managers can get teams promoted without spending much but that doesn't mean anything.

    You need to get away from this McDermott thing because it has clearly gotten in the way of you understanding my point. Your getting wrapped up by it and not understanding, I'm finding it quite frustrating.

    There are very good managers out there, there would've been no reason for a top manager not to come to the club prior to this season of sacking managers constantly. I don't know about you, but I am not happy with finishing at the dizzy heights of 11th (bearing in mind we aren't currently 11th, we're 14th). We as a club have spent more this season than I can remember for a long time, since the prem. We have promise in the squad but lets be honest, all of that promise has come from our own academy rather than the players we have signed barring only a small few.

    I like Redfearn, I really do but he has some major flaws that cannot go unnoticed. He does not leave me with confidence for the future and I believe we will end up wasting yet another season if we leave him in charge. If we are serious about getting back to the prem then we should act like it.

    JB knows they are down and with no money,they said a few months ago they will fail next seasons FFP,going to be a long time before they can dream about the championship again and JB don't want to go down with his ship.<laugh>
