    What a thoroughly nice bloke!

Warren Buffett donates $1.78bn to charity

American industrialist, philanthropist and one of the most successful investors of all time, Mr Warren Buffett, has donated another $1.78 billion (£1.1bn) to Charity.

Buffett has given the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, run by the co-founder of Microsoft, 23.31 million shares in his investment company Berkshire Hathaway. The shares were passed to the foundation on July 6, when they closed at $76.52.

The rest of the donations went to four charities run by his family: the Susan Thompson Buffet Foundation, which was named after Mr Buffett's late first wife, and other charities run by their children, Howard, Peter and Susan.

In total, Mr Buffet has now donated more than $11 billion of shares in Berkshire Hathaway.
According to reports, Mr Buffett, who is now 80 and worth an estimated $50 billion, plans to give away 99% of his wealth to charity

Tis easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven.

His generosity will guarantee his place at the lords table I`m sure.

At least he doesn't shout about it as much as some other ****s I could mention, plus not once have I heard him slag ordinary people off telling them that they should be digging deep too.

To be fair, his surname is pronounced 'buff it' which does lend his whole name a certain camp rabbity quality.

    <ok> Monacoger.

Don't know anything about the guy but that's a pretty brilliant gesture in my opinion.
