I remember that match too Dev.

Alan Biley was quite a character, and striker.

I remember that game with such fond memories, I attended with my Dad, Grandfather and one of my Uncles, a massive crowd that always got behind the team. I was just 12 years old and I will never forget how the whole ground reacted to the Oxford goal......the chimes of course, it lifted the team and roar was incredible....Noel Blake played an absolute blinder that day. My only sadness was it was my grandfathers last game, he died shortly after.

As for tomorrow, we will win. <ok>

    Isn't Oxford fairly flat?

Every match in this league is impossible to predict. But yes - we can, and we will.

Ben Chorley in for Whatmough, Nigel Atangana in for Dunne and Wes Fogden back on the bench.

7 games unbeaten - not too shabby. Was a slam-dunk that we'd struggle without Dunne today.

Of 33 league games we've won 11, drawn 11 and lost 11 - could be worse.

Not surprised there were no posts during the match, as it was a pretty drab affair. Talk about "After the Lord Mayor's Show" !

The highlights were the half time appearances on the pitch of Jamo and The Hermanator, and a superb Jed Wallace cross in the first half, and a flick header by Matt Tubbs which was pushed over the woodwork by the Oxford keeper.

We edged the match on chances to my mind, and whilst a draw isn't the end of the world, three points would have been nicer.

Well summed up Woop - thought we were the only team interested in winning - I'm not sure they had a shot - I thought the threat we posed first half waned a bit but I thought the lads put in a very good shift....and the reception for Hem & Jamo was great.....almost wanted Jamie Ashdown to just run on and join them really - he must have felt really out of place being ion the away bench.

David James was there? I'd have been even either tears or screaming "I LOVE YOU DAVID" at the top of my voice.

What was the reception like for Appleton? Or was he basically ignored?

Awfs and Paul Hardyman both came over to the Oxford bench before kick off and shook his hand, but he was fairly quiet himself, and basically he was ignored by the Pompey fans .
