You know what? An assessment of Monk would include both the good days and the bad. How good were you at your new job after just one year?
So we have already picked up 6 points from that list of yours swanselona? now what you got to say?......................
I got promotion ..... twice ..... normally not expected for three years. Thanks for asking (I don't mention it unless I'm asked.)

Dai - Bradford have proven themselves more than capable of beating PL sides. Just ask Chelsea - who, in fairness, were CL champions when we beat them on the way to the Final.
Thought just occurred to me when looking at the current PL table - GM is the highest placed English Manager, replacing Big Sam after we went above above West Ham today!
The BBC report on today's victory says "Super Swans 40 points after 27 games equates to Swansea's best ever return in a Premier League season." This is very good but we have to take into account that we have done less travelling this season, not going far in the cups has helped our improvement in the league. I am still delighted with the season to date however, I am in support of Monk continuing next season if he can keep some wins heading our way. Next season I would like Monk to focus more on the league than cups, it would be horrible to see us in a dog fight just one before the bumper TV deal comes into play. Next season still pays what we get now so amassing as many points as possible and increasing the strength of our brand in the league must remain the priority for the next 18 months.
If that were true they would not be where they are...cup matches are a lottery that most of the big clubs with foreign managers are not bothered about until they get to the final having played a weakened team......wigan won a cup and relegated we won a cup because there were no big boys wanting it, Sunderland won a cup on the brink of relegation......Cup games for the big teams today and have been for a while are not as important as it use to be...anyone with a bit of luck can make the final today....
