    The gods punishing us there for not dropping Pelle. Yes he had to score that chance by all accounts. But he should have dropped for this game first. He HAS to be dropped for Palace, unless he grabs an equaliser in these final few mins.

    To be fair to West Brom they've defended pretty well and closed us down very well today.

    The way we're playing it's hard to see us finishing higher than 7th.

    That was not that easy of a chance. Pelle could have done a bit better I guess, but it's a ball coming from behind that he has to swivel and volley with his left foot with man on.

    It also sends a really bad message out to Long (and to Mane to a lesser extent). Continuing to pick Pelle isn't fair, nor justified.

    I agree Pelle needs to be dropped, I've defended him for a long time now but he can't keep his place missing those chances. Let Long have a go, hopefully Koeman can drop Pelle gently without damaging his confidence too much.
