Yes I agree. Shame we have to wait until December i think it is and March for when we visit the Booze Busters Stadium or Fu-King Power stadium. Good luck and yes bring it on.

Hull City fans are used to seeing big money spent on average players and thats what Sven is doing with you. But hey ho there you go.

thats because i am amodern day football fan!!! if you read my earlier post, i said im 24 and have seen everything at my club in the 18 years ive supported them. I cannot describe how low i was when we went down to league 1, so forgive me for being a little excited about our current position. Yes im not an idiot i know it doesnt guarantee success, this is as ive said a very very hard league. Im simply excited things are healthy at my club after a mainly horrible decade. Yes all fans give it large about their own club, and talk themselves up and my tagline is more wishful hope than prediction, but basically im excited about the fact my club have a great chance of success and excited about the season in general. Im also not really surprised everyones talking about us, I expected a few big names,or attempts to get big names, but never thought we would pay 5 million for someone. Our owners say theres no limit aswell- cue more excitement

What happens if your owner loses his corruption case in Thailand and is kicked out of all his duty free stores, will things still look healthy then?

It's like Pompey all over again, it's great while is happening, but things can turn to **** overnight.

Just watch Birmingham between now and the start of the season.

As far as I'm aware, Leicesteristan FC isn't anyone's club.

We may make the Prem, we may not but I'll enjoy all the new signings while we've got the chance - beats being skint in League 1. I'll worry about the consequences if and when it becomes an issue.

I personally take an interest in Hull City, purely to see how Pearson get on, he was a great manager for us and I think he was treated badly by Milan Mandaric but I enjoyed his time here, he transformed our fortunes on a limited budget and bought us within a whisker of promotion. I'd wish him the same success at Hull if we weren't in the same league, but we are, so I won't.

As for the stadium, I don't see what's the big deal. It's just a name, the venue is still the same. Walkers will still be involved with some sort of branding inside the stadium as far as I know anyway - see our local traditional sponsor remains intact in some way. I'm just lookin forward to the new season, thik Sven has signed some great players and all are relatively young players with great ability or potential ability. Would still like to see us bring in a good forward before I see us as genuine contenders for auto rather than play off challengers.

as a moderator i think your constant jibes at leicesters multicultural population by calling us leicesteristan is very very immature, borderline racist, pathetic and not at all funny. we are talking footy mate,im not bothered about your club either yet on yur boards there seems to be a thread about us everyday.yes our stadium name sounds naff, but its bigger and better than yours, and you have signed dele adebola, and your major signing of the summer is a leicester cast off-so no wonder we are far more interesting.

While you lot are posting on our board and referring to us as Leicester reserves, or accusing us of signing your cast offs, then I'll post any reciprical jibe I like.

If it offends you, then you're too easily offended and you're feel free to **** off.

I have regularly seen posts on your board referring to Hull as **** hole, yet if I refer to Leicester as an Asian **** hole, then I'm a racist. I'm no racist, Hull is no **** hole and if you didn't slag us off or post insults on our board, you would never even have come across me at all.

No wish to get involved in your argument but can I just jump in on one thing because its becoming common on many argumnts,"You being a moderator".

All moderators are fans first who help the forum by taking on the moderator role, they take part in debate and the odd skirmish. Call them dick heads or whatever and they will call back but hitting them with the,"You are a mod", thing is unfair.

Thats me done so carry on.

BTW, at Sunderland we get called every sort of ****hole going and the ****hole bit would concern me more than the asian.

it doesnt offend me, im not asian, its just totally childish and irrelevant. You were responding to me, and I didnt mention your home town just football, thats why i was annoyed. And obviously then you are offended by fans calling you leicester reserves?? this thread was started by hull fans laughing at our stadium name, so what you didnt expect any leicester fans to be on at some point?

anyhoo, laugh all you want at king power, its not as funny as dele adebola, and weve just spent 5mil on a defender, the worlds just rosy at the min
