Aye mate, he's done Catts a few times over the years simply by being a much better footballer, didn't bully him though, he outclassed him. I'd class a bully on a football pitch someone who uses physicality to stamp their authority. Which is why i differentiated between a bully and technique/skill in my post so there wasn't any confusion, well, I tried. ;)

Oh and my name isn't 'Some' :p

Honestly fella I'm dreading it. I'm usually an optimist but the more Gus draws breath to speak the more it's sucked out of me.

If you and many of us think that, wonder what the dressing room make of him these days . We will find out over the next 3/4 games.

Fantastic match thread as usual <applause>

If Bri ever leaves this forum we'd be screwed ............ not just for these threads but his general contribution, plus he's funny.

Sunderland always manage a few crazy results every season, this will be one of them!

3-1 with Defoe scoring twice, first on MOTD, I can't get so it'll be a long day ........... Haway Lads!!!!!!!!

Cracking thread Bri, hope you get the Tardis working soon and drop into York soon..<ok>

Sorry lads but I'm going a Man Utd win tomorrow, simply because I see us set up to defend and fail. Wouldn't surprise me if there goals are early on in the game and then it gets crap..

Just my opinion mind, hope I'm wrong..

I'm just really disillusioned with Poyet at the moment so if we do get anything I'll be bouncing off the walls.

I'd rather have Howard Wilkinson back...

    ...Or would I?

A good friend of mine who lives near Sunderland City Centre can't make the game tomorrow and has a ticket for sale. If anyone is interested just let me know and I will try and make arrangements..

Good luck tomorrow but think it will be a slow and dull game which United nick 2-0.

The following two games are more important I think, 3-4 points from those and you'll be a handful of points above the relegation zone with less than 10 games to play. Thinking 34ish points may be enough for safety this year.

Would have been even better if we'd avoided him like the plague like we should have.

    Man Utd 'miss 20-goal striker'
Manchester United are out of the Premier League title race because they do not have a 20-goal striker, says Louis van Gaal

    this man is a genius

Maybe we would have one or two if he stopped telling our midfielders and defenders to only pass backwards.

He's got at least 3 who should get near or over 20 per season and two of them still haven't got to ten.

Rooney's only hit 20 in the Premier twice in 11 years Terry, his record isn't prolific. Goals used to fly in from everyone at Man U. With RVP not firing and Falcao off the pace, a lack of goals could let the Scousers sneak in.
