Our record at anfield is appalling,no win since anelkas goals in 2002 for a rare victory. Clattenberg is ref again, not forgiven the coward for not giving Suarez a second yellow for diving last year. Utter ****house City are playing better away than at home so I hope we can finally grab a much needed win Hart Zabaleta Kompany mangala kolorov Yaya fernandinho Milner Silva Nasri Aguero Hope that's how we line up
City have extra 48 hours to rest and have no injury worries. I know they are coming to attack us. We have Philippe Coutinho, the little Brazilian Magician.
see this is why I find attitudes to refs so hilarious. Paul here is giving clattenburg a right mouthful. So is astro I find this funny..... clattenburg if anything IMO has been very kind historically to LFC going all the way back to absolutely robbing the man utd youths in an FA cup youth final when we won.. He doesn't pull random reds and you can get away with quite a bit cos he tries to keep it even My opinion is that seeing him as ref I am feeling better about this game! LFC will have Sahko back, coutinho in and probably henderson as well. markoivc will be available too. We will i think play 3-4-3 with mingolet Can Skertl sahko Markovic henderson Allen Moerno Lallana Sturridge Coutinho It will be a tight call between sturridge and stelring for fitness. Not really sure which will start. Can might be elft out as he was hurt last night a bit. If we had anyone to replace allen with i think we would too. I would love to see city's width coming from milner and nasri frankly. that would be ideal as it'll all come inside and be a tight central game that suits our defense
If not for the unpredictable nature of Mario Balotelli, this is the time his type can do a job on City. But I would not trust him I mean as ex- city player.
I've opted for a City win but we have a fighting chance to win a point or more. Right now, knowing that Coutinho, Henderson and Sahko will be fresh is a major bonus. Lose and it's not a big deal as long as we follow it up with a win versus Burnley on Wednesday. A draw would be a bonus and a win and I'd be ecstatic given our European hangover.
Sakho is a doubt. Only apparently joining back up with squad training tomorrow so not sure if he'll be playing.
Hope he's fit. I have little faith in Lovren, he'll be pulled from pillar to post by Aguero and Silva et al. 3 points out of the next two games and then reassess. Hopefully we'll get other players back into the fold after that.
Could do with EVerton doing us a favour. They won last night while arsenal were humiliated so hopefully it plays a part in confidence. Southampton on have potentially tricky away game and Spurs don't play so could lose and not actually lose too much ground. On the other hand, win and we could potentially close the gap on all those above us, apart from United who are guaranteed a win against shockingly bad Sunderland.
A win this sunday will be a real bonus for us as it's unlikely our top4 rivals will get three points against city, too. Plus I'm at the game, so a win would be nice!
Yes I agree... a good performance is really what we want.. if we look leggy it'll be tough to run around for burnley but with coutinho, henderosn, markovic and shako back in (i expect) I would hope we can look fit and able.
We are certainly capable of turning City over, with it being a big game we'll be up for it. Keeping Aguero quiet is the key (obviously).
