Please forgive me for this next post as it's not the most uplifting of things to read about but there is a point to it. A bad life day for me in the office. One of my very close mates suffered a massive heart attack this morning. He is only 38, he was very fit, still plays football, doesn't smoke and only drinks occasionally. Well it's looking like he had the same thing that Fabrice Muamba suffered from. I won't know the results of his brain scans until tomorrow morning. Due to his heart stopping for about 15min, despite CPR we basically don't know yet if he is permanently brain damaged or even if he is still there if you know what I'm trying to say. Again sorry about this post. My message is this, I do a lot of long distance running but have always been aware of a history of irregular heart beats in my family. I had this checked out at the doctors and was told all clear and carry on running. If you have any worries about anything to do with your health then please don't hesitate to go see your doctor and get it checked out. It could just save your life! Anyway here is a song from one of his fave bands.. Hang in there Simon, I f**king love you brother!
Sorry to hear about your mate there UTR, a horrible situation to be in. If they did CPR he has every chance, best wishes to him... A beautiful version of a song with a very apt and powerful message...
It was said very much tongue in cheek as the Ramones were hardly the most political band, although Bonzo Goes To Bitburg definitely was and you could argue Havana Affair and Commando were too
