12000 miles still isn't enough to get me away from the bloody English cricket team, but! I think its you lot that should apologise to me.

And, for the record, Russel Crowe ain't an Australian. He's a bloody Kiwi!! and I still think the Aussie billionaire Sir Frank Lowe should buy Leeds, get rid of the dross that is currently pretending to be a team and fill it with young Aussies and give them a crack at the PL.

Apologies Brisbane Aussie and kiwis all look alike to me

Sorry, I assumed as a wallie you were taking the piss.
I would agree with you, I can't him having the money to take us to the promised land, smells of cheap publicity for an over the hill actor with nearly as many skeletons in his closet as Cellino.

If rumours are right. Red bull made Cellino an offer for his and elanoras stake in November, but it was dependant on championship survival. Now they are trying to get the deal done... We wait and see.

Red Bull would be a decent proposition I would have thought. No risk of relegation now (the joys of a small winning streak :( )

As long as they don't try some 'welcome to the Red Bull Elland Road Stadium' rebranding.....

Lion,I know he's a kiwi and supports the all blacks, but in other sports he follows the ozzies?
Seems strange,is it true?

No, but I bet you didn't know that, Chips. Not many people do. 'specially the less well aducated.:grin:

So do I, to an extent. As I've said before on this forum, I cannot bring myself to support the Aussie cricket team, no way. But in most other things I do, soccer, league and union, but I was a pom too long to change over to the 'enemy'. Not that I wouldn't mind changing, as you say, the pommy team is ****e and I have to suffer for it over here, believe me.

Saturday is last chance saloon for us, win we go toe to toe with Rotherham with the remaining games, whoever aquires most points stays up, draw and it's very much advantage Rotherham and lose we are down simple as.

Agreed on the last chance saloon Stu, like I've said for weeks mate that I'm almost resigned to the drop and Saturday is the day when we lose up at Rotherham that I give up hope. <doh>

Then again Steve it was about this time last season that we lost 1-0 to Barnsley and we were lucky to get nil, the abuse i gave the team as they went off the pitch lost me my 'cool uncle' status from my Niece and i resigned myself to relegation. A few weeks later we all went to see us lose at Leeds in a improved display but none of us expected the run we had to stay up and if we lose on saturday no one will expect nothing apart from relegation again.
We have to go back to traditional 442 and battle for every ball to achieve anything, even if its just honour and self respect.

Thanks for giving me the chance to break it to you all.
You were all ready on the up by this time last year.
Lightening doesn't strike twice.

DOOMED

Exactly Stu and couldn't agree more, but it's the lack of Holloway not seeming to have a scoobie or learn from his mistakes that gives me no cause for optimism for a last minute.com recovery! <doh>

Of course I'll be gutted as any true wall would be as well but not exactly surprised as it's been coming for ages, like I say I'm expecting it. <ok>
Oh ye of little faith. We almost gave up last season but hung in there to 'win'. It ain't over 'till the fat bastard sings. :smiley-finger007: I wonder what tune he'll select?
