Gabbi Sabritini , she had killer thighs but a face like a mexican bandit I remember a phrase like this once it went something like: Body from Baywatch face from Crimewatch, which I thought was quite amusing.
Bobfocs we used to call them. - Body off Baywatch, Face off Crimewatch. Similar to a "Kronenburg" (1664) 16 from behind, 64 from the front.
I don't. It winds me up. 'here's the sports news....' Scunthorpe United have a game on Saturday and hope to win it, Grimsby lost last week but hope to win this week, Ferriby have a difficult game at the weekend but manager Billy Heath is confident......England cricket team played last night in the World Cup, if you want to know the score log onto our website........Now for RUGBY LEAGUE ( excitement in the voice) FC hope to win more games then last season. Rovers hope to reach the top eight and are looking to get a bumper crowd next week........FC coach, Lee 'last orders please' Radford said today FC fans are fantastic and good looking......'
My question was not referING merely to the sports coverage. I was referring to the station as a whole. It covers a fictitious region made up by London based executives, it shamefully self promotes success based predominantly on its own parameters of what is success, it ignores the fact that but for the BBC'S virtual monopoly on football coverage, nobody would listen at all, and worst of all, it simply ignores cultural feelings both North and South of the Humber and their wishes to be linked to traditional geographical boundaries. I wonder if the London based executives will ever invent Bristol Channelside or English Channelside and claim the same successes that our 'local' crowd self promote.
i listen to R Humberside at 2 mins to 1am when it switches over to Radio 5live (the only time i can pick up the channel - it is only 2015 afterall)
Similar to 'Look North'. When did Lincolnshire become 'The North' ? Is anyone in Hull or the East Riding remotely interested how many times the level crossings come down on a street in Lincoln or an argument over bin collections in Boston?
Just a point of order, north and south is relative. Lincolns north of me at the moment, when Im at the KC, obviously, its south.
If I'm on my way to the game I'll tune in for some pre match interviews, but I listen to five live most of the time. It's a shame hull doesn't have its own radio station, most of the post match stuff is grimsby and scunthorpe related and by the time I've got back to the car there's just enough time to hear the no mark grimsby manager moaning about not beating some piss pot conference side before it switches over to James Hogarth. Be nice to have more in depth city talk after the game. 606 is Always worth a listen if you can stand claridge.
What on earth have they done to this show ? Since Burnsy stopped being sports editor the programme has gone from one mess to another. It is no longer for the fans simply for 2 muppets to waffle on. MATT DEAN OUT.
Try not to listen to it on my way home from game's, find it very dangerous listening and driving while the Grimsby town manager is droning on,what a boring twat.
