Sorry, should have made myself clear, the second plane, the one that they built to a scale model, the one that looked nothing like a bird... All I was saying was that it was fascinating and unexplainable.
The one that looked nothing like a bird? You're talking about the gold figures they found in Colombia right? The ones with wings and a tail? That looked a bit like a jet which itself was based on a bird design?
I believe in UFOs. Namely because UFOs are fying things that you can't identify. Namely cus they're really far away in the sky. That said it's interesting to not UFO sightings went up in the UK the same year that the USAF started flying spy planes from bases in the UK out over the Soviet block.
Yes indeed, thousands of years ago, before even The Wright Brothers. This thing was a pendant so couldn't have flown as it was too small/heavy but the design of it was bang on, with wings like a modern fighter jet and a fin sticking up which birds don't have. Now I'm not saying that ET and his buddies turned up in the thing one day, but nevertheless it is interesting stuff (not 'total bollocks').
At the risk of sounding argumentative, if you look at an eagles tale from certain angles, it appears to be a fin shape(look at some eagle pics!) and it's well known that many birds change the angle of their wings when diving or lowering altitude - it's not really too much of a stretch to imagine that if a culture was advanced enough to mould gold into pendants, they may just have discovered the delights of smoking the local plantation! ...
