    It's all happening.....

Martyn Ziegler tweeted a few mins ago that we expect 100-200,000 euro fine.

    Very droll.

To be fair I did actually think about putting the 3 zeros in after 100 and I shouldve known better to do so.

So £145k max fine pretty much.

Not too bad considering how much you get just for finishing 20th in the Prem.

Although it's good for us, it's an absolute ****ing joke. How is that kind of fine supposed to encourage clubs to ensure compliance with FFP? It's less than a month's wages for some of our players. Lets hope that they're just finding their feet and they actually get tough with this cos it is undoubtedly a good thing, but it just wont work with this kind of punishment for non compliance.

Completely agree, they might as well not even bother with the fine considering how small it is.

I bet they'll think it's worth it if we stay up and bank the new tv deal money.

It's a pity we didn't try a bit harder in Europe, to at least get some value from it.

100& agreed. When I got to the stadium in Lokeren and heard the line-up I was bloody furious. I said at the time I'd take relegation and a decent Europa run over staying up and getting knocked out any day and I havent changed my mind since. Bruce's biggest cock-up since he's been here.

Not in my eyes it isnt. I've watched City for 35 years and the vast majority of my favourite memories happened outside the Premier League. We might never get to play in European competition again and it was just tossed aside without having a go at it.

I'm pretty sure there was an interview from Ehab maybe before new year in the HDM which basically said they expect the fine and it has been accounted for in the budget.

“I’m not too worried at the moment because there are still some opportunities for us to avoid any sort of sanctions,” Allam added.

“If we knew what the sanctions would be, we could make an informed decision about whether to convert our loans into capital. But we don’t know what the sanctions will be, we have not yet been told.

“So at this stage, we have not made a decision.”

UEFA FFP rules state losses must be restricted to £35.4m over a two-year window and we lost way more than that.
