Talking of which, I'm at a track day at Blyton Park on Sunday, the kids bought me it as a prezzie for Christmas. Apparently I have a choice of which car to drive, amongst the choices are a Porsche 911 520bhp, a Lamborghini Gallardo 494bhp ans an Audi R8 490ish bhp. Decisions, decisions. I think I'll probably go for the Lamborghini as that's the one that I'm unlikeliest to ever own. If you don't hear from me after Sunday you'll know there was a tragic accident
I did a track day a couple of years ago. The deal was 3 laps in each of 3 cars. Similar cars on the list, and I regret not choosing the R8 as one of my options. The people who did were raving about it. I also coughed up extra for 3 laps in an Atom. Glad I wore my brown trousers that day.

Nice piece Lambo, congrats to young Alfie, he certainly appears to have what it takes for a career in sports journalism. Hard to come to terms with the fact that the great Ayrton Senna died over 20 years ago though. Where did all that time go?
I drove a Lambo, Ferrari, Nissan GTR and the Audi R8 V10 at a track day last year. The Audi was by far my favourite to drive, it had a lot more control than the others.

Yes she is , she is their reserve driver this season also so will be doing a lot of Friday Practise 1 sessions this year
