Cellino's family who he transfered over to before the ban came in , but of course cellino will be paying them
somehow , when the court cases are finished he will have this transfered back to him and return after he has SHAFTED the league bosses and good on him for that as they need 2 fingers put up at them as they constantly put 2 fingers up at leeds united football club , i say well done cellino as leeds always have to do things the hard way unfortunately . if it had been leeds fans on the paris subway train doing race insults they would have banned us from europe like they did before but cause its chelsea nothing is said except a few fans getting banned.

bottom line .... Cellino was found GUILTY of tax evasion and convicted in an Italian court ... yes, he is appealing, but there is another case on its way against him so don't hold your breath ... now, after 22 years he suddenly sells Cagliari and heads to Leeds ... he knew what was coming, and he would have been forced to sell Cagliari for a lot less as the Italian FA no doubt would have banned him ... Cellino does a dodge very well, pity he can't play on the wing for us with his slippery sidestep ... nope, he is now playing the wounded soul to the full, and is basically hoping something goes his way so that he can do his drama queen-esque return as the ultimate hero who was wronged by big brother .... well Mr Cellino, it simply doesn't wash, and your ego driven, self serving antics are all wrong for a big club in Yorkshire ... we're simple folk really, just give us a fcuking team that plays their guts out every week, sweats bullets for the shirt, and refuse to let the most loyal fans in the world down ... do this and you will become a legend and your legacy will stand forever ... after 22 years at Cagliari you left with no legacy because you are, without doubt, a selfish muppet

Took this off JA606, Stoopo revealed it, and he's a cheary not a dreary. Stoopos pretty reliable with information but no link has been provided.

I wonder if it throws the cat amongst the pigeons?

Cellino is one for playing his cards close to his chest.

"Leeds United is currently being successfully restructured, rebuilt, significantly invested in, with care and planning for the longer term with the Cellino family at its heart, for the benefit of its long-suffering and passionate fans, the city and its players and staff."

Much as we want to believe this, I presume given what gfh did to us you can recognise PR spin when you see it.
Without rubbishing the statement have you ever seen any owner company ever say anything too diffrent.
I rest the case for the prosecution m'lud.

There's been no mention in any statement that Eleanora Sports, or Eleanora imobillia are selling up; untill we hear or read that I think it's best to keep an open mind on it....:emoticon-0148-yes:

If they say they want out the price goes down, all the PR is about trying to create a sellers market. Ask elland, his trade have pulled the same stunt for 200 years.

You could be right, I am not saying you are wrong.
I am fully respecting your view.
But if we can't speculate the forum is going to be pretty quiet.
There is only so much laughing you can do at the wallies and Mike before your sides hurt too much.

I can't believe some Leeds fans want Cellino to stay!
Or others that think that Bradford is/was millionaire city!!

    See post #51.
All you plastic mates only joined in when the argument was won!!!
    Shame on you.

Still waiting for the T and A to ring for a quote, I have come up with a couple!
For a start I will voice concerns about how care in the community is letting vulnerable people down, and how it is a disgraceful in the 21st century that old folks are left to fend for themselves when someone should clearly be looking after them.

He might be but he has got money something other local business men would not match his offer even though we are simple folk as you put it , money from a world wise person and a football man that you cannot deny as his experience dealing with an italian seria A football team , ( NOT JUST A MAN WITH MONEY WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL ) He knows plenty about football and we would not have players in our side like ANDERLUCCI , BELLUSCI ETC if it was not for him and you cannot deny they have done a good job for leeds and got leeds heady heights of 11th , NOBODY ELSE was bothered about leeds , and as he is astute business man he saw leeds utd a fallen giant and out of his own money wether it be by whatever means he got it and it could have been through the hard work ethic you talk about , he put that money into the fallen giant leeds and if and WHEN it gets leeds into the premiership i dont think you will be too concerned if your a true leeds fan.
So think about it ! he walks away and leeds slowly start to sink end up in league 1 would you prefer that or leeds been in the premiership ? i know which one i would prefer and i have been a fan of leeds and supporter since the first game i went to in 1973 and the exhilleration of watching a team with the skill leeds had then and MAY HAVE in the future was a different level of football and something to aspire to so i stick with cellino because who is to say that man city or chelsea or even man utd got their hands on money through entirely effical and clean ways and look where they are ?

Sniffer, I'm not exactly against Cellino but listen to what your saying. The heavy heights of 11th??? Thats hardly something to be overly proud of.

If he had employed a top quality manager, hell dare I say it even kept McDermott in charge, gave him the money that we spent in the summer and thats not even including the full 11m we got from McCormack you cannot say we wouldn't be dealing at the higher end of the table. Hockaday was a waste of time, Milanic was even worse, Redfearn as much as he is good for Leeds United he is no manager/head coach. We haven't gotten any better on the pitch compared to the last couple seasons, the promise is there which I think is the difference but as far as results go they have been worse this season until our recent little run.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate he has done good things at the club but Leeds will go on if he doesn't come back which at the moment I see as 50/50.

How you can say mc dermott is a top quality manager when we were losing every week i dont know he was inept with tactics and could not manage a big club like leeds only a small outfit like reading ! when you say a top manager , mc dermott was a manager in the premier league with reading but NEVER had 5 wins out of six with leeds unlike redfearn i am not singing praises of redfearn as he is not the finished article ,but what other manager has done anything for leeds since we have been in the championship ? certainly not A TOP MANAGER as you say NEIL WARNOCK did nothing also who was supposed to be a top manager , but we will see where we finish in the championship dont also forget this is a young team

Did I say he was a top quality manager??? Where did I say that, I said "hell dare I say it keep McDermott in charge" which makes me think although he did a very very poor job I think he may have even done better than how our current season has panned out. Read it properly mate for **** sake.

If mc dermott was still in charge you would be looking at league 1 teams and wondering who we would be playing on the opening day of next season and we would be bottom now of championship as he cannot manage a big club only small minnows like reading as i said .

which top manager are you saying would get us up to premier league anyway ????? as none would come as leeds is a job not for the faint hearted and dont forget the money that it would cost to sign one without knowing if he could deliver, as with mc dermott who got a minnow team into premier league so he is supposed to be a top manager as he was in the top league as a manager, and warnock who was exactly the same both failures at leeds and cost leeds alot of money for failure, and dont tell me there was no money to get players as the best managers can get a team promoted without spending alot of money yes ? lets see what redfearn can do , hell we have seen what he can do in the last 6 matches beating the top teams in the championship.
