I don't know why anyone expected anything better. The positive is that Allam, by his request, is admitting the whole nonsense is divisive and negative to our current progression. It confirms what he is.
Maybe he wants to prolong his fantasy for another 3 months in which time the computer geek who's trawling social media right now pingbacking "the tigers" left, right and centre can finish the job.
I do, that's why I know he'll never change the crest without consulting supporters first. Afterall he's a Hull City supporter he'd never try to buy Leeds or Sheff Weds. It's Hull City for him, for the importance of Hull City, for Hull and for East Yorkshire. I understand he's a little miffed right now with the local authority but he'll soon be talking to the Hull City Council again, as he'd welcome any opportunity to speak to them, with open arms. He wasn't very happy that the FA refused his request to change our 111 year old name & as a result he's been trying to offload the club for a while now, he must be close to giving it away to supporters & local businesses on a 60/40 split, as is his aim. I'm positive he'll be true to his word. I'm also bubbling with enthusiasm at the idea of watching Al-Ahly play against Hull City. An event that he will stage at his own expense so that all the income from the match can go to helping the people who suffered as a result of the disaster in Egypt. I know that no specific date has been set but it will definitely be before the start of next season.......... again. Moving forward, once the Court of Arbitration for Sport have sorted this name change fiasco out I'm sure everything will be hunky dory again. If not he will be gone in 24 hours as the man never goes back on his word Why would anybody not believe him? I just take what he says at face value, it's better than second guessing what the ****er means. We shouldn't be in the position where we require higher expectations of accuracy from what the owner of our club states, should we?
so is thats = that's there's an EDIT button you know.. and in fact you didn't even need the edit button since you should have just gone back and corrected the error.. there's a DELETE button too.. (I just edited this)
Club Statement "The Tigers would like to announce that the FA's announcement on the name-change appeal will be postponed until the end of season. Meanwhile tickets for the pre-season friendly against El Ahly are now on general sale; adults £80, kids £45"
In my very first post on here i told all the grammer police to **** off because i don't care. It a forum not an English language test. I know about the EDIT option but when you look at a word you have typed, you can see it's wrong but have no idea how it should be spelt it doesn't help. A spell check would be much more use to me so as not to upset all those bothered by bad grammer and spelling.
As long as you don't leave a space between the end of a sentence and a question mark Bo, see every Tickler post, everything else is fine mate
Pussy doctor, dream job? Hardly, you'll see fadges in awful states of repair, old gimmer quims that hang like Babylon's gardens. It would put you off minge for life, all mystery and wonderment would just evaporate the first time you clamp a speculum on a rotting flange. Back on topic, the title of this thread is hopelessly misleading. Allam asking for a postponement is not the same as it being postponed, as the title states.
