Did Sam Smith win anything? He has to be the most over rated pile of screeching dogger the world has ever, ever experienced. Anyone on here admits to liking him and that's me and them finished. He's a lard arse with a lisp who can't sing. I can do that, although I haven't got a lisp.
All of the nominations suggest a lack of personality. Sheeran, Ezra, Smith et all Taylor Swift looks nice though
If the Brits is meant to be the best in British music, then British music is dead. A fall like that could've been fatal for Madonna at her age.

Always liked Maddy, still do, she was a teenage fave of my daughter, now 35, think it was True Blue the album, but now I think her crown is being handed over to Taylor Swift another of those artists who get derided but in actual fact I think has real talent, just like Maddy. (Add to that list Miley Cyrus check out her acoustic songs on You Tube, brilliant.)
I watched it, a little boozy after a meal out, and I may have been slightly hazy but it did seem that it was the same 6 names nominated in each of the male, female and band categories all night. Total lack of diversity there, and before anyone says I mean with a small d. Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, who i had no idea who he was until last night, Paloma Faith and ****chops Ronson - if you own anything by any of these ****ers then you're what is technically known as a twat. All music made for people who dont like music. On the plus side I would bum Swift until she's blue in the face, mind.
The only musical artist nominated that I gave a **** about was probably Foo Fighters. And they aren't even British ffs. (Though they are a lot more popular here than in the US, it seems)
You don't have to be British to win a Brit award, just as you don't have to be American to win a Grammy.
